                                                            monitor

What?
The Aspida is a robust, high specification personal monitor which can be worn on a
belt or even wall mounted as a back up to a primary CO2 or O2 safety system. Offering
audio/visual alarms, datalogging and a man down alarm for loan lab workers it is an
ideal solution to protect staff from the dangers of a leak of carbon dioxide, enriched
oxygen or an inert gas.
The Aspida is available as a stand alone CO2 or O2 monitor or as a dual CO2/O2
monitor ideal where a combination of CO2, O2 and inert gases are used.

Key features Standards such as EH40 in Europe mandate

                                                           gas detector

What?
The FGD3 flammable gas detector uses 'pellistor' technology to detect a wide range
of hydrocarbons, fuel gases and hydrogen. The sensor can be set to detect either
methane or general hydrocarbons. Pellistor sensors can be fitted to detect hydrocarbons
over the range 0 to 100% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) or 0 to 100% Volume gas. The
detectors use the industry standard 4-20mA current loop to convey the gas levels
detected to a control unit such as the LC Commercial.

                                                    Why?
                                                    Methane, butane and propane are
                                                    commonly used in laboratories (such

Perfect for multipoint The FGD3 is simply wall mounted in
the room or area where the flammable

What?
The LC Commercial series comprises one, two and four channel mains-powered
monitoring and control units for use with the various ranges gas detector heads such
as the FGD3 and 3000SI. The front panel houses a graphical display with associated
keypad that shows simultaneously the current reading, sensor type and status (i.e.
Alarm, Fault) for each channel and, by use of the menu system, can be used to program
various operational features such as the alarm levels and relay operating modes. This
is ideal for laboratories which use a variety of gases or have multiple points to monitor.
