Point Market in High Point, NC - 2019THE CATALYST PROJECT FOR DOWNTOWN HIGH POINT The Outfields, a Downtown High Point redevelopment project, is located just beyond the outfields of High Point’s new baseball stadium, which opened May 2019 for the High Point Rockers (Atlantic League of Professional Baseball). The project will be a place of community inspired by the art and history of the local furniture heritage. Phase One of The Outfields includes a grand festival plaza, Class A office space and Stock + Grain Assembly. Future development includes a hotel, condominiums, apartments and shops opening 2021-2023. The revitalized Downtown High Point, featuring the Rockers’ BB&T Point stadium and The Outfields is a $210 million project funded through an innovative public-private partnership model that includes the City, Forward High Point, High Point University, Elliott Sidewalk Communities and Peters Development sharing investment, design and construction responsibilities. Once complete, the new development is projected to attract an additional 200,000 visitors, permanent jobs and new downtown residents bringing an energy, joy and economic engine to the area for decades to come.
As a cornerstone asset in the revitalization project, 275 North Elm will be home to Class A office and retail space, providing businesses and retail with the opportunity to become a vital part of Downtown High Point. Stock + Grain Assembly will be a 12,000SF marketplace occupying the first floor of 275 North Elm. 36,000 SF of office space will sit above on the second and third levels of the building. With unparalleled access to foot traffic from BB&T Point stadium, the plaza and Downtown High Point, 275 North Elm will serve as the new hub of connectivity for the city of High Point, its workers, and its residents. The revitalized location invites families, local businesses and visitors to a new, year-round, community-centered environment. For more information, please visit stockandgrainhp.com.
