The above CPD points are applicable to the membership of the Institute of Legal Executives (Victoria)
and, across all sessions, include the mandatory annual Ethics requirement. Members of other
organisations will need to evaluate whether these sessions meet their organisational and/or
statutory CPD requirements.
The Presenters will not be engaged in providing legal advice – presentations will be made for
educational purposes only.
Batman’s Hill on Collins is centrally located at the corner of Collins and Spencer Streets, Melbourne,
diagonally opposite Southern Cross Station. Registration includes arrival tea and coffee, morning
and afternoon tea, and lunch. The Conference will be held in the Burke & Wills Suite.
A Conference book, including available papers, will be provided to attendees.
The registration forms are included below – there is one form for use by the membership, and a
separate form for those who are not enrolees or members of the Institute. The registration fee for
enrolees and members is at a reduced rate as a benefit of enrolment with or membership of the
Institute. Should any eligible registrant, who is not an enrolee or member of the Institute, apply to
join the Institute within six months of the date of the Conference, the usual application fee will be
waived.
The registration fee is not refundable once paid, although the Council will consider any relevant
request such as in the case of a genuine medical emergency. However, if a registrant cannot attend,
they may nominate a colleague to attend in their place (with an adjustment of the membership
conference registration fee if applicable). Any substitute colleague nomination should be made by
11 March 2020 at the very latest. If a registrant cannot attend, and has not nominated a substitute,
we will make arrangements to send your Conference book to you.
The registration forms below include the early bird registration fee which applies if your
registration form and payment are received by 19 February 2020. After 19 February 2020, the
registration fees will be respectively $295.00 (membership registration) and $370.00 (non-
membership registration), plus any applicable credit card payment fees.
A confirmation email will be forwarded once we have received your registration form and processed
your payment, and a receipt will be provided.
By providing your email address, you consent to receiving emails from us in relation to this
Conference, including our post-Conference Survey, and any future educational events.
Photographs will be taken at the Conference, and may be published in The Legal Executive and/or
austilex.
The number of registrations which can be accepted is limited, to accord with venue requirements,
and you are invited to register as soon as possible.
