TERMS & CONDITIONS
❖ The Team Registration Form must accompany the Team Nominations form (master sheet). Each
  Team must have 16 players to constitute a team.
❖ Travel and Accommodation is the sole responsibility of individual teams.
❖ The Team must read the disclaimer/waiver on this form. By signing this form, Teams and
  Individual Player/s have agreed to the rules and regulations of the Tournament
❖ The Organiser of the Tournament reserves the right to refuse entry to any Player/s or Team/s.
❖ All participating teams MUST have a LEVEL 1 accredited coach/each team is allowed 2
  league safe staff. Accredited and uniformed (Hi Vis)
❖ A Level 1 First Aid sports trainer will be provided, if your team has a first aid sports trainer
  please advise the competition organisers. (accreditation must be sighted)
❖ The team master sheet must be handed in to the management desk before the competition
  starts.
❖ Each team shall nominate a maximum of 16 Players on a match sheet to be presented to the
  management desk 30 minutes prior to your game.
❖ Players must play in the same numbered jersey throughout the competition.
❖ Extra players are not permitted to be added to the original match list if the maximum squad
  of 16 players has been named prior to the team’s first game.
❖ Competition games are of 2 x 9 Minutes halves with a 2 Minutes break at half time. Both fields
  use the same hooter.
❖ Players must play a minimum of two (2) Games to be eligible for the finals matches.
❖ Semi-final and grand final games are 2 x 12 Minutes halves with a 3 Minute break for half
  time, Time off will be given for injuries in the finals round only.
❖ Teams are to submit an entry fee of $1100 per team.
❖ Prize money- Final-
            - Winner         $5000
            - Runner up $3000
❖ All participating teams will be given 20 Passes for entry (strictly for the 16 players and 4
  officials) which will be distributed by a member from QLDRL.
❖ Teams can nominate 1x vehicle to park within the grounds.

    Fees are $1100 AUD per participating team, which includes insurance and prize money.
    Fees are to be paid via direct bank deposit to;

TOURNAMENT RULES

Subject to various changes listed below, games will be played under international laws of rugby
league. All requirements governing the off-field conduct of matches and behaviour of players
(judiciary) will be outlined in the Code of Conduct and Penalties on Misconduct.

    1. The six (6) tackle rule applies in all games.
    2. All kick for goal MUST be taken by form of a Drop-Kick
    3. The drop-kick MUST be taken within 30 Seconds of the try being scored. Obvious slow
        play can result in the referee nullifying the opportunity of the shot at goal being taken at
        his discretion. There will be one Touch adjudicate on the attempt with the referee returning
        to halfway after the attempt
    4. If a substitution has been affected when a kick at goal is to be taken, i.e. after a try has been
        scored or a penalty kick has been awarded the substitute player is not allowed to take the
        kick
    5. Players can be sin binned for a professional foul and deliberate slow play. The period of a
        player being Sin binned is a duration of 3 Minutes
    6. A player sent off during a match will not be eligible to play for the remainder of the
        competition. QRL Judicial procedures will apply
    7. The re-start of play after a try has been scored, shall be by a tap kick on halfway by the
        non-scoring team. The referee will re-commence the game immediately after the attempted
        drop-kick at goal has been awarded or denied by the touch-judge. If the defending team is
        not on side to defend, the game will start regardless
    8. Competition points shall be awarded as; Win – 3 points, Draw – 2 points and Loss – 0 points -
        -        If a draw is the result of a competition match there will be not extra time given.
        -        Quarter finalist will be the two top teams of each pool, this will depend on the number
        of teams entered in the competition
    9. There will be no time off for injury during the normal competition rounds
    10. No extra time shall be allowed during the pool games in the round robin schedule. All matches
        will be decided only at full time
    11. Field goals are allowed during regulation game time and NO penalty kick goals are allowed
    12. Referees decision is final
    13. All Judicial decision is final and there will be no appeals against the judiciary decision
    14. Teams must be prepared to take the field 1 minutes before the end of the preceding match
    15. Should a team not enter the field of play within 2 minutes of kick-off time shall be forfeited
    16. Extra players are not permitted to be added to the original match list if the maximum squad of
        16 players has been named prior to the team’s first game
    17. Unlimited interchanges are permitted throughout the games.

PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

❖ Players must at all-time respect the tournament rules, tournament and match officials including
  tournament sponsors, venue equipment and rule of law that governs the laws of the game
❖ Players must at all-time respect the opposing players
❖ There is absolute zero tolerance towards violence - Players must not incite violence of any form
  which includes verbal or physical abuse towards any tournament match officials including
  spectators
❖ Referees decision is always final and must be respected

                         SPECTATORS CODE OF CONDUCT
❖ Spectators must at all-time respect the tournament rules, tournament and match officials
  including tournament sponsors, venue equipment and rule of law that governs the laws of the
  game
❖ Spectators must at all-time respect the players on the field of play
❖ There is absolute zero tolerance towards violence - spectators must not incite violence of any
  form which includes verbal or physical abuse towards any tournament match officials including
  spectators
❖ Referees decision is always final and must be respected

                    TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS CODE OF CONDUCT
❖ All tournament officials are to abide by the QRL code of conduct pertaining to their capacity
  as custodians of the game
❖ Any tournament official that is seen to be bringing the game into disrepute shall be reported
  to the QRL and to face the QRL judiciary
❖ Any such tournament official that has brought the game into disrepute during the tournament
  shall be immediately removed as an official of the tournament

                       TEAM PENALTIES AND MISCONDUCTS

❖ Any team found to be fielding unregistered players shall have all their competition points
  deducted
❖ Any team inciting riots shall have their team expelled from the tournament
❖ Any team breaching the code of conduct and bringing the game into disrepute shall be
  expelled from the competition
