Anahita Golf Course

Each round of golf will be fully supervised by PGA Professional Nicholas d’Avoine. Before each golf game, you will
get an hour of golf instruction on the driving range with assistance from the Golf Clubs local PGA Professionals
(TBC - excludes Paradis Golf Club).
Nicholas d’Avoine
Nicholas is a teaching professional at the world class Lake Karrinyup Country Club and the face of the Golfbox
Academy, he is considered to be one of the best coaches in the state. His technical skill and general knowledge of
biomechanics is linked closely with the latest golf technology and analysis, he is one of the most recognised
teachers in the golf industry today.

Enjoy shopping in the capital of Mauritius. Port Louis is the largest city in Mauritius, and the economic and
administrative centre of the island. Port Louis has plenty of charm. Right off the main square you can stroll
besides the palm-lined Place d'Armes and discover Port Louis’s busy streets.
As part of this tour you will visit:

OPTIONAL: Chamarel Day Tour – 26th September 2020
On the final day of the tour we will take a trip out to Chamarel where we will visit the waterfall, seven coloured
earth, and Rhumerie de Chamarel. **Please note meals & drinks are not included**
Chamarel Waterfall
By many it is considered the most beautiful waterfall of Mauritius. Three distinct streams plunge down almost 100
meters from the St. Denis River, down into the gorge. The sight of this impressive waterfall against the scenic
forests and mountains is truly breathtaking.
Seven Coloured Earth
The “Seven-Coloured Earth” of Chamarel is a geological curiosity and a major tourist attraction of Mauritius. It is a
small (7500 m2) area of strikingly bare landscape located within a large, dense forest. The earth is particularly
unusual as it was created by volcanic rocks that cooled at different temperatures, allowing the earth to form
beautiful patterns of colour on the exposed hillsides.
Rhumerie de Chamarel
Situated in the South West part of Mauritius, in the heart of a fertile valley lies the Rhumerie de Chamarel which
is surrounded by vast sugarcane plantations growing in harmony with pineapples and other tropical fruit. Here
you will have a guided tour of the distillery and rum tasting.

Travel Information
Visa – not required when travelling from Australia and staying under 60 days
Passport – check it is valid for at least six months from when you plan to leave the country
Money – the local currency is Rupee, and you need to declare all amounts in excess of MUR 500,000 on arrival
and departure. In order to get a better exchange rate, it is recommended you withdraw any cash (approx.
AUD1,000) in Australia and then covert it at the airport in Mauritius.
Travel Insurance – it is recommended you take out comprehensive travel insurance before you depart to cover
overseas medical costs, including medical evacuation. Make sure your policy includes adequate coverage for any
pre-existing conditions.
Vaccines – There does not appear to be any required, however situations do change so it is therefore
recommended you discuss this with your doctor as some vaccinations need to be done in advance.

Water – It is safe to drink tap water in Mauritius.
Time Zone – The Mauritius time zone is +4 GMT, 4 hours behind Perth time.
Travel Adapter - In Mauritius the power plugs and sockets are of type C and G therefore it is recommended you
bring an all in one international adapter.

Payments
Golf & Tours accepts the following payment methods: Direct bank deposits, cheque and credit card (Visa,
American Express or MasterCard N.B credit card payments will incur a 2.9% processing fee).
A non-refundable deposit of AUD1,500pp is required to be returned with this form to secure your place on the
tour. Please ensure you have taken out travel insurance in case you need to withdraw from the tour due to
unforeseen circumstances. An additional AUD3,100pp deposit will be due on 31st January 2020, with the final
balance being due on 11th May 2020 On this date G&T will advise you of the AUD amount owing for your tour,
minus the deposits already paid, giving you the final balance owing with a friendly reminder to arrange payment.
N.B If booked after 31st January 2020, both deposits will be due immediately, and if booked after 11th May 2020
full payment will be due immediately.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations by the client must be in writing and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person:
• Cancellation before final balance payment is required: Deposit lost
• Cancellation after final balance payment has been completed: 100% of the tour cost charged
If the company is forced to cancel a tour, a full refund or option to transfer full deposit to a subsequent tour will
be offered to the client.
Flights
Please do not book your flights until you have been advised by Golf & Tours which flights will coincide with the
group airport transfers.
Passport & Visas
It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport at the time of travelling and that you
hold all necessary visas and permits. All Australians must hold a valid passport for international travel.
Some countries require you to hold passport with at least six months validity.
Travel Insurance
It is mandatory that you have your own comprehensive travel insurance while travelling on a Golf & Tours
holiday. The policy should provide cover for any element of your booking including loss of deposit,
cancellation, liability for illness, medical expenses, repatriation, personal injury, death or loss of any
kind, delay and inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by Golf & Tours, ND Golf or by any other third parties
we subcontract to, and loss or damage to baggage and valuables. You are responsible for making any
special or increased insurance arrangements which you deem are necessary. The payments made to
Golf & Tours are non-refundable. Travel insurance will cover you for unseen circumstances that may force you to
withdraw from the tour.
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to the person making the booking and all other persons on whose behalf the
booking is made. Clients booking by telephone, facsimile, web or e-mail will be deemed to have read and
accepted the Terms & Conditions set out below. Therefore, please read them carefully.
As Golf & Tours Pty Ltd and ND Golf are only acting as an agent we, Golf & Tours and ND Golf, nor any of its
related bodies corporate, directors, employees or agents accept any liability in respect to the supply of any
element of your booking, including any liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind, delay and
inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any provider of travel services or products or by other
third parties unless caused by our negligence.
If, due to supplier availability an item on this itinerary is no longer available for our tour, Golf & Tours reserves the
right to substitute any of the golf, accommodation, transfers or activities listed in this itinerary with any item of
similar standard/value.

Any client who books on a Golf & Tours trip assumes all of the risks of participating or attending the activity or
tour, including by way of example and not limited to, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on
the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned,
maintained, or controlled by any of the golf courses or third parties that Golf & Tours or ND Golf may engage. By
booking on a Golf & Tours holiday, the client certifies that they are physically fit and have not been advised to not
participate in sporting activities such as golf by a qualified medical professional. They certify that there are no
health-related reasons or problems which would preclude their participation in this tour.
By signing and dating the booking form you have given permission for Golf & Tours and ND Golf to take
photographs of yourself, and to publish those photographs for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to
promoting Golf & Tours and ND Golf on their website, social media accounts, and promotional materials, either
digital or in print, in perpetuity. If you have a change of heart, you can ask Golf & Tours or ND Golf to stop using
your images at any time, in which case efforts will be taken to prevent them being used in future digital
and offline publications but they may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.

This tour requires a minimum number of golfers to proceed. Please do not book your flights until you have been advised
by Golf & Tours that this tour will be proceeding. If minimum numbers are not achieved, you will be offered a full refund
FLIGHT DETAILS or opportunity to transfer your deposit to another tour.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
