SSES 3rd Grade Needs Your Help! SSE Families, Third grade is planning for Journey Day 2021, and we would love your help! The morning of Journey Day involves a visit to “Ellis Island, early 1900’s” and the afternoon is spent highlighting the variety of cultures represented at Sycamore! If your family would like to share a bit of your culture with our third graders, we would love to have a 2-10 minute video (this can be pieced together from your own presentation and/or pictures, videos from the internet!) we could share with our students! Please email Jennifer Blackmon with any questions or to submit your video by May 4th. (jennifer.blackmon@dsisdtx.us)

clothing, shoes and textiles!
So, please do not throw them away!
Place your items in a bag that is tied closed and deposit them in the
green recycling bin in our front parking lot.
Every pound of recycled items supports SSMS NJHS!
The following items may be placed in our bin for recycling:
Clothing: pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, suits, shorts, shirts, tees, tanks
Footwear: shoes, boots, heels, sneakers, sandals, socks, tights
Undergarments: bras, underwear, slips, camisoles
Accessories: hats, belts, ties, scarves, headbands
Handbags: wallets, totes, luggage, backpacks, briefcases
Linens: towels, sheets, comforters, blankets, tablecloths
As you clean out the old and bring in the new, you can help the
