Morgan Sindall Construction
& Infrastructure Ltd –
Marketing Manager

Tell us a little about your career path
I started my career working for
Babcock as a HR Officer employing
graduates and apprentices, decided to
leave to work on luxury superyachts
in the Mediterranean for a year out
and ended up falling into an Office
Manager role at Morgan Sindall. Here I
am today after progressing my way up
through the company to running the
Marketing and Business Development
department within the south west.
Tell us about the project of which you
                                                 are most proud
Did you always want to work in
construction? There are so many, one that stands out
is the Gabriel House Homeless Shelter
I fell into this role in construction and in central Exeter, seeing the residents
never knew a thing about it, 10 years faces when they were presented with
later I am still here and absolutely their newly refurbished rooms was so
LOVE working in this industry. rewarding.

What advice would you have for Where is your favourite place in the

industry today?
It has to be eating pizzas on the Quay
Make sure you take as much work
experience as you can to get a “feel”
of the different roles (there are so You can choose one song, one book
many). You won’t regret working in and a last meal – what would they be?
the industry, the benefits are endless!! Everybody’s Free by Quindon Tarver,
Neo the Dinosaur (my sons), pepperoni
If you could choose one other pizza
profession, what would that be?

I renovated my own property and
would love to do this as a profession - Keep in touch
