Issues:
Handholding Training on the basics of First Aid
The participants were imparted handholding training and orientation on how to provide
First-aid when necessary. Mainly discussed on a) what is First Aid and why First Aid; b) different types of
wounds – Contused, Lacerated, Incised and Punctured and the concept of CLIP the Wound; c) for remedies
to know the Direct and Indirect Pressure and Pressure Points – Carotid, Subclavian, Brachial & Femoral;
d) Practical session on Concept and use of Roller bandage, narrow and broad bandage using Triangular
bandage; e) Reef Knot/Doctor’s Knot; f) Simple Spiral & Reverse Spiral; g) Figure of 8 bandage; h) Chin &
Head Bandage; i) Arm Sling, Triangular Sling, Collar & Cuff Sling; j) Use of Splint; They were given hand
holding training on use of Roller bandage and Triangular bandage.

Technical Audit and Review Meeting- PIU East Medinipur
A whole day meeting was held on 16th July 2020 through VC and team meeting in presence of
concerned members of PMU, PIU, PMC, DSISC and Contractors. The meeting was held to carry
