IGLOOFEST:
A UNIQUE FESTIVAL
Every winter Igloofest® brings together thousands of electronic music lovers to
dance under the stars at Montreal’s Old Port. With its icy decor set against steel
structures, its striking architectural visuals, its program that draws the best local
and international DJs, its surprising and playful Igloovillage, and its wacky snowsuit
contest, Igloofest is one of the city’s hippest events and one of the country’s most
popular winter destinations. Without a doubt, Igloofest is where winter happens.

The 12th edition of Igloofest offers a rich programming bringing together several
of the most in-demand local and international artists on the global circuit, covering
an even greater spectrum of the electronic music universe, including among others,
Kaytranada, Bonobo, NGHTMRE, Petit Biscuit, DJ Esco, Sasha and John
Digweed.
From January 18th through February 3rd 2018, in a redesigned location,
Igloofest invites big kids to come play outside during its nine bright, fun-filled,
unforgettable nights. Because a winter without Igloofest, just isn't winter.

AN URBAN PLAYGROUND
Installed along the Quays of Montreal’s Old Port, the Igloofest site is a bite. On the menu: an outdoor grill, classic fast-food fair and even
giant playground that caters to winter and music enthusiasts alike. something for those with a sweet tooth. Without revealing too many
details, because surprises are another Igloofest tradition, let's mention

#IGLOOSWAG CONTEST
A popular symbol of Igloofest’s festive spirit, the hotly anticipated Iglooswag costume contest has grown to unexpected
proportions over the years. Unpretentious but oftentimes taken very seriously, it grants each evening the dimensions of a
crazed costume ball. We welcome snowsuits and wacky costumes of every kind ! Of course, we still honour the good old
one-piece of past decades. Lacking inspiration? We thought about that! Themes per weekend spice up your wardrobe
choices and increase your chances of winning the grand prize!
A simple photo-shoot souvenir or a real anthropological happening, the Iglooswag contest has become a tradition that
contributes to the magic and singularity of the event.
