Editorial content
In HVAC&R Nation, we aim to give readers a practical approach to the HVAC&R industry.
This is perhaps best illustrated by the “Skills Workshop” section, which appears as a three-page pull-out
in the middle of the magazine. This section includes industry-relevant technical “how-to” guides, bulletins,
walk-throughs, step-by-step tutorials, to-do check lists and the like.
With topics changing from month to month, the section aims to provide useful information to readers
regardless of the area of the HVAC&R industry in which they work.

Feature topics are aligned to industry needs and what’s on the cutting-edge.
The publication prides itself on its ability to react to breaking news,
technological evolution, and trends as they occur.

Features can also take the form of training tips articles,
which aim to build the readers’ technical know-how
in HVAC&R.

“The Toolshed” is a great place to have a new
product showcased. Other features include Q&As, profiles,
industry updates, technology insights, apprentice stories
and career advice.

Other regular sections of the magazine focus on
industry news, ear-to-the-ground trade chatter, informal
reader Q&As, industry classifieds, and the ever-popular
“Lighter side” – a look at the month’s shonkier HVAC&R
installations sent in from readers.

Industry insights/sector outlooks are an important part
of the publication.
