Department Update

MacIntosh announced that the Department is holding a board member training on
February 17, 2021, and all members are welcome to attend.

MacIntosh reminded members whose terms were expiring this year to remember to apply
for reappointment if they wish to be reappointed.

MacIntosh informed the Board that the rules were withdrawn to consider proposed
language about emergency conditions. However, that change would require a change in
statute, so the rules will be resubmitted.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Iris Torres asked for clarification on the Boards decision of her application.

Michael Joy inquired if counselors could get the vaccine.

Macintosh said this is not the platform to discuss COVID-19 related questions.
