MINISTRY PLAN New City KCK 2021 Plan + 2020 Report
FOR THE HILL.
Wow! I think we can all agree that 2020 has been filled with its ups and downs. How-
ever, I believe that God is still at work within His people at New City Church KCK. This
past year has brought us challenge, a new location and an amazing opportunity. With
that opportunity, let’s build upon it as we move into 2021.
The SEEK process this year has been so unique and fun as we have had to shift from
being a mobile campus to now being rooted right in the middle of an awesome neigh-
borhood. We believe New City Church KCK looks to 2021 to be the year we are FOR
THE HILL!
In the pages that follow you will see our teams objectives for 2021. We feel as though
after much prayer and seeking, these objectives are the things that God is leading us
to in the year ahead. We look forward to the impact and growth that we will see in our
families, in our generosity and in our community!

DISCIPLE MAKING
2021 VISION
We will make disciples, that make disciples, that make disciples through the Discipleship Pathway.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To engage and grow individuals through our discipleship pathway.
• To connect released discipled leaders with new individuals.
• To connect coaches and those they are coaching growing discipled leaders.
• To encourage D-Groups to engage and carry out an intentional OUT ministry.
CHURCH PLANTING + OUTREACH
2021 VISION
We will make our community better because we are in it and they will know it.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To create and begin New City Neighborhoods at the KCK campus!
• To seek out, engage and deploy future church planters in our congregation and beyond.
• To give to and support the organizations that support us.
• To engage our community and let them know all are welcome!
• To educate and assist people in our community to make Jesus Lord.
• To develop a team that creates opportunities for discipleship and mission in our community.

WORSHIP + TEACHING
2021 VISION
We will provide training and environments that point people to Jesus and a life of worship to Him.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To develop, strengthen and connect the congregation, staff, elders and teaching team.
• To equip and develop leaders by providing training opportunities and relational investment.
• To establish creativity in services and events through the use of new worship technology.
• To share the gospel with the community by providing live online Sunday morning content.
• To execute Sunday mornings with excellence and inspiration.
• To be in the city with block parties, worship at city shelters and family music nights.
• To write and create original music and content as a creative worship arts team.
COMMUNICATIONS
2021 VISION
We will equip and empower leadership to communicate a clear mission and vision, intentionally pre-
senting the Church and New City as a welcoming place of rest and refuge.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To present the Gospel through stories of transformation in a clear and inspirational way.
• To communicate that our homes and each New City campus is a place of refuge and rest.
• To provide quality production, avenues of communication and tools needed to provide
services and events with professionalism.

NEXT STEPS + FIRST IMPRESSIONS
2021 VISION
We will engage and bring individuals to their next best step making everyone feel welcome by show-
ing exceptional hospitality to every person who enters our doors.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To equip and coach our First Impressions Team and provide great hospitality.
• To offer welcome gifts for first time guests.
• To create and produce an online directory for people to be known.
• To excite and educate people on the opportunities going on at New City Church KCK.
• To provide opportunities for connection for those in the church and community.
• To find, equip, and deploy new leaders in our ministries to multiple areas within our church
and New City Neighborhoods.

KID CITY
2021 VISION
We will equip and train children, families and volunteers to trust in and live like Jesus.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To equip volunteers and leaders to further impact our children and their families.
• To provide opportunities for families to connect and grow together in their relationships with
God and each other.
• To make Kid City a place of refuge for kids and their families.
• To know every child and family in Kid City and to let them know they are known.
• To provide a place for kids to learn about Jesus supporting both cognitive and spiritual growth.
STUDENT CITY
2021 VISION
We will equip students and families to trust in and live like Jesus.
HOW WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS VISION
• To find and develop a discipled leader to lead Student City.
• To equip middle and high school students by providing opportunities of growing their rela-
tionship with God, engaging with other students and serving the community.
