Featured GC MORETOWN Participant
ChriS
Chris is one of the newest members
to join GC Moretown, and he was
quick to jump right in and become
a faculty participant. He has taught
a cooking and informational class
about Belgium and demonstrated
how to make Belgium waffles. Most
recently he taught a multimedia style
class looking at the different ways
nature in portrayed in various Disney
Films. Chris is well known for his
“punny” sense of humor, kind heart
and big smile. When asked what he
liked most about teaching classes at Global Campus, he said “being myself, using
PowerPoint and the new knowledge.” We are grateful to have Chris at GC Moretown.

2020~ 2021 Academic Year Theme
OUR NATURAL WORLD
Take a journey with us this academic year as we
explore our natural world. From the depths
of the oceans to highest mountain peaks,
we will learn about the world around us,
what part humans play and what we can
do to preserve our natural resources. Each
campus will find unique and creative ways to
explore this theme as the year unfolds through
science, art, music and literature.
Virtual Learning
In person classes were suspended last spring due to COVID-19 but our learning
continues! The campuses meet weekly and many participants have continued
teaching via Zoom. Spring semester begins at the beginning of April and we will
continue our learning virtually and follow VT Department of Health guidelines
about when we can meet again in person. Please join us this spring for some
exciting online classes!
