2022 FEES +
TERM DATES
In 2021, Neverland transitioned to a new term date system that
better matched with schools terms. We found this worked very
well and have continued with this for 2022! Please find below
our term dates!
3 Week Break
TERM 1 10 weeks Tues 8th Feb - Sun 17th April *Monday is a Public

TERM 2 9 weeks Mon 9th May - Sun 10th July 3 Week Break
TERM 3 9 weeks Mon 1st Aug - Sun 2nd Oct 2 Week Break

TERM FEES WILL CHANGE WITH THE TERM LENGTH
Most of our base term fees are staying the same in 2022. However, you will
see an increase in term 1 and decrease in term 4, that relate to the changing
term lengths. Please check out our pricing list for specific prices of each class
and term. Overall, the year will be the SAME cost for most classes.
*Monday classes of Term 1 will only be charged for 9 weeks as Waitangi
Day falls on the first week of term.

FOR ALL YOUR DANCE WEAR NEEDS.Your guide to Exams Dance exams are a great mid year goal for our students. Syllabus classes prep for the first half of the year towards these exams and students feel a great sense of achievement and pride once completed. Students then progress through their genre levels from year to year. WHEN? Exams take place mid year and can fall anywhere between the end of Term 2 - mid Term 3 COST Exam entry fees depend on the examination level however exams can range from $50 - $250 REQUIREMENTS To be eligible to sit an exam at Neverland Studios you must be doing the following: - Attending the compulsory classes suitable for your exam (2x classes for Grade ballet & above and 2x classes for Development 1 jazz & above). - Wearing the appropriate uniform for your exam - Attending any extra holiday/intensive courses that are scheduled for your exam - Practising at home WHO CAN DO AN EXAM? All dancers that are following the above guidelines are eligible to sit an exam however the decision to enter a student in an exam is that of the teachers. Exam students must be showing great technique and performance quality, they must also be regularly attending class and practising in their own time. All exam students must show a positive attitude towards the syllabus, their teacher and their peers. GLOBAL DANCE QUALIFICATION SYLLABUS (GDQ) GDQ pulls from the most well respected dance technique methods from around the world and aligns with world industry standards of what is expected from students of all ages. BALLET - ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE (RAD) RAD exams set standards in classical ballet and are a global leader in Continuing Professional Development for dance. Founded in 1920, today RAD have a presence in 84 countries, with around 14,000 members worldwide. RAD count more than 1,000 students in our teacher training programmes and more than a quarter of a million students are being examined in RAD syllabi.
NEVERLAND The Neverland uniform is an important aspect of being part
of the Neverland community. It ensures that all dancers are in

• Makeup classes can be taken where classes fall on a public holiday - choose a class of your choice.
• No refunds are given for missed classes due to family holidays, overseas trips, birthdays etc.
• Refunds will only be given due to serious illness or injury with medical certificate and bereavements.
• Parents must contact the office to confirm any unenrolments prior to Week 3 of term.
• There will be no refund of term fees if a student leaves a class after the first 3 weeks of term.
• Changing classes at any time will not incur any charges unless there is a discrepancy in the term fees.
• Late fees will apply if terms fees are received after the first week of each term.

FEES POLICY
• Fees are payable strictly in advance prior to the term commencing to secure a place in a class.
• If you have not paid your fees and not attended class by week 3 of the term your enrolment will be cancelled.
• Make up classes will be offered when classes fall on a public holidays.
• No refunds are given for missed classes due to overseas trips, family holidays or birthdays etc. refunds may be granted due to illness, injury or
bereavement only. Medical certificates may be requested.
• There will be no refund of term fees if a student leaves a class after the first 3 weeks of attendance.
• If you decide to pull out of a class before your third lesson you will only be charged for the weeks that you were enrolled.
• Changing classes at any time will not incur any charges unless there is a discrepancy in the term fee.
• Your enrolment will not be processed if you have an outstanding balance on your account from a previous year or term.
• Late fees will apply if terms fees are received after the first week of each term.
COVID-19 POLICY
• If in-studio classes are unable to happen due to Covid-19, all classes will be immediately switched over to our online platform , Neverland TV.
• The in studio timetable will remain the same online and no term fees will be credited or refunded due to change of Alert Levels/Light systems.
CLASSES AND WAITING LISTS
• All classes have a maximum number of students. If this number is reached, a waiting list will begin for new enrolments into the class. If you are
added to a waiting list you will be contacted when/if a space becomes available for you. There will be no fees charged for being on a waiting list.
PHOTOS AND DIGITAL DISPLAYS
• Neverland employs professional photographers/videographers to take photos/videos throughout the year. Photos/videos throughout the year
may be added to the Neverland Facebook or Instagram page, please make the office aware if you or your child wishes to not be in photos/
videos. Some of these photos/videos will be offered to you for purchase.
• No Photos or Videos are to be taken while watching a class unless the teacher has specifically invited you to film or photograph a dance. This is
for child safety reasons.
EXAM POLICY
• No student is guaranteed a place in an exam.
• A nomination for an exam is based on the assumption that the student will fully commit to exam preparation.
• Students can be pulled out of an exam at any time at their teachers discretion, this is a last resort and parents will be alerted to this
possibility before a decision is made.
• Certain syllabus classes require a minimum of 2x classes must be attended (Grade 1 Ballet and above, Development 1 Jazz and above). If
classes are missed, this could jeopardise your place in an exam.
• Every student should have their correct exam uniform appropriate to their level from the beginning of the year.
SHOW POLICY
• Taking part in the end of year show is not compulsory although is highly recommended as it is the highlight of the year.
• A show costume fee will be included in your term 3 fees. This fee is incurred per dance the student participates in but is capped at a certain
level. This fee is a contribution towards sewing, purchasing, laundering, storage and handling of costumes. You do not get to keep your show
costume. Due to the early purchasing of the costumes, this fee is non-refundable.
• A show participation fee per family will be included in your term 3 fees - included in this fee is a free show digital download.
• Attendance at show rehearsals is compulsory.
• During the show period, studio rehearsals and theatre week, there are no normal timetabled classes; please refer to your cast list.
• If classes are missed this could jeopardise your place in your show dance. Please be clear with your teacher if you are unable to attend.
UNIFORM POLICY
• Uniform is compulsory for all classes and must be purchased and worn by the students third class.
• Continually attending class not in uniform could jeopardise your place in your class.
• Correct uniform must be worn for each genre - i.e. students are not allowed to wear jazz uniform in a hip hop class.

Enrolments for Term 1:
• One class enrolment requires full payment to secure your place in the class.
• Multiple class enrolments require a minimum deposit of $70 PER CLASS in order to secure your
place in the classes.
• If you are enrolling for Unlimited you must pay a $500 deposit to secure all of your classes.
Enrolments for Term 2 -4:
• Full payment is required for all enrolments and must be made on date of enrolment.
Full class payment is required prior to the term commencing. Students with outstanding
fees from a prior term or year will not be enrolled in any class until full payment is made.
