Waterways, whales and wine
Waterways and wilderness, whales and wineries,
there’s so much to explore so close to Sydney’s back door.
Unwind by the sea at Bannisters Port Stephens, a boutique coastal getaway providing ocean-
view accommodation, a divine day spa and Rick Stein signature seafood. Cruise Port Stephens’
tranquil waterways for the opportunity to spot dolphins and, in season (May to November)
migrating whales. Walk on the beach, hike through native bushlands or dine by the water in Port
Stephens.
From here, head inland to recharge at the wonderfully romantic and relaxing Spicers Vineyards
Estate. Set on its own private vineyard, in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, this is the

North coast explorer
