Boys Cricket Selection Trials for National
Championships in February/March 2018
The NSW All Schools teams will compete in the School Sport Australia Cricket
Championships hosted by Queensland School Sport in Brisbane during Term 1,
2018.
Below indicates the nomination procedures for students from the various school
associations. Please ensure you nominate by the closing date and to the correct
association.
Students from schools affiliated with the NSW Combined
Catholic Colleges will need to access the website below for
details of the NSW CCC 15 Years Cricket nominations and trials.
Students must nominate online at www.csss.nsw.edu.au and
submit by Monday 23 October. The NSW CCC 15 Years trials
are listed on the calendar for Monday 20 October & Tuesday 21
October at Raby Ovals, Campbelltown.
Students from schools affiliated with the NSW Combined
Independent Schools will need to access the CIS website
www.aisnsw.edu.au/Services/CIS/Pages/Sports.aspx for details of
the NSW CIS 15 Years Cricket nominations and trials. Students
will need to be selected to represent their CIS member sports
association cricket team to be eligible for CIS Trials.
Nominations submitted by member associations only will be
accepted by October 16. The NSW CIS 15 Years trials are
listed on the calendar for Monday 23 October & Tuesday 24
October.
Students from schools affiliated with the NSW Combined High
Schools will need to access the website below for details of the
NSW CHS 15 Years Cricket nominations and trials. Download
the nomination form from
www.sports.det.nsw.edu.au/nswchs/welcome.htm and submit by
October 23, 2017. The NSW CHS 15 Years Cricket Selection
Panel will then select a squad of players to attend the State trials
from the nomination forms received.Team selection trial: The initial two day trial games will be played on Monday 4th December and Tuesday 5th December in Sydney. The NSW All Schools 15 Years Provisional Squad will be announced during the following week. This squad will then play a final trial game in Sydney during January, 2018. This final trial is during the school holidays, and has had to occur due to the National Championship date. Eligibility: Players must be aged 15 years or younger as of the 31 August, 2018 to be eligible to participate in the trial. Travel and accommodation: All travel and accommodation for the selection trials are the responsibility of the player and his parents. Enquiries regarding the nomination process can be directed to: NSW All Schools 15 years Chairman – Damian Toohey – damian.toohey@det.nsw.edu.au NSW ALL SCHOOLS 15 YEARS BOYS CRICKET NSWCHS SELECTION INFORMATION 2017 - 2018 The NSW All Schools team will compete in the School Sport Australia Championships hosted by Queensland School Sport in Brisbane in February / March, 2018. NSW CHS Selection procedure 1. Preliminary nomination: All NSWCHS players must complete the attached nomination forms, have their school principal sign and post the form to The NSW CHS Cricket Convener – Damian Toohey at Albury HS, 625 Kiewa St. Albury 2640 between 2 October and 23 October 2017. Be detailed - listing your major skill. The Supporting Statement form which is to be completed by a member of the NSWCA Coaching Panel or an accredited Level 2 Cricket Australia Coach is also to be forwarded to the Convener. All nomination forms must include an email address (please print). Trial selection process: The NSW 15 year’s cricket committee will select up to 72 players from the nominations received to attend the selection trial. This consists of 2 x NSWCHS squad, 2 x NSWCCC squad and 2 x NSWCIS squad. The committee will meet during the NSWCHS Boys Cricket Championships in Barooga in November to select the 24 players to attend the trials from NSWCHS. The chairman will then invite selected players to attend the selection trial via email. Players not selected
to attend this trial will be put on a reserve list if a position in the trial becomes available. 2. Team selection trial: Players will be divided into four teams for this two day selection trial. These trial games will be played in Sydney on December 4 - 5, 2017. The NSW All Schools 15 Years Provisional Squad will be announced during the following week. This squad will then play a final trial game in Sydney during January, 2018. 3. Eligibility: Players must be aged 15 years or younger as of the 31 August, 2018. 4. Travel and accommodation: All travel and accommodation for the selection trials and are the responsibility of the player and his parents. 5. Levy: There will be a $200 levy for all NSW CHS students selected to attend the trial. This will be paid to the team manager at the trial days. This includes a CHS baseball cap and shirt. 6. The NSW CHS Cricket Convener will select a squad from this resume nomination to attend the NSW All Schools trials.
The NSW All Schools teams will compete at the School Sport Australia Championships in Brisbane in February/March, 2018. Players must be 15 years of age on 31 August 2018 and a copy of proof of age (birth certificate) is required with this nomination form. attend the trials. It is important to include current representative teams and squad

Challenge.
