WEEK ONE OF VACATION CARE (28 th JUNE – 2nd JULY 2021)
Monday 28th JUNE 2021 – OOSH Olympics
With the Tokyo Olympics fast approaching, we will be holding our own Games Day. Challenge the

other Nations in some friendly competition including relay running and sack races, entering the
Oatley Football Stadium for a soccer tournament and many more activities to test your athletic
skills. Who will end up atop of the Medal Podium at the end of the day? After all the fun and
games, we will be making our own pizzas for lunch to replenish our energy! Reminder: Please
remember to pack morning and afternoon tea.
Tuesday 29TH JUNE 2021 – Base Zero Rock Climbing Wall
INCURSION
Today our friends from Base Zero are coming back with their rock climbing wall! We have plenty
of time to verse our friends and see who wins. There are 4 sides of the wall and an alarm at the
top of the wall that the children press once they’ve made it to the top! Are you game enough to
try? We have an early start to the day, the wall will be arriving at 8:30 for a 9:00 start, then
finishing up at 12pm. Reminder: Please remember to pack morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Wednesday 30TH JUNE 2021 – Como Pleasure Grounds (Capped at 45)
EXCURSION
A classic Oatley OOSH excursion! We will be enjoying the day at Como Pleasure Grounds. We will
start by walking across the Como bridge taking in the scenery. We will have a day full of playing
in the playground and hanging out with our friends! To top it off we will be enjoying a sausage
sizzle BBQ lunch and a juice box! Since this is an excursion, please remember to pack your child’s
red OOSH hat! Note: If the weather is bad, we will be staying at the centre. Reminder: Please
remember to pack morning and afternoon tea.
Thursday 1ST JULY 2021 – Chocoholics Anonymous
Today we’ll be celebrating the awesomeness that is chocolate! If you like to indulge then today’s

the day for you! We’ll be making our own personalised chocolate bars with an array of toppings
and some yummy kit kat style bars! Children will be taking these home to share with their loved
ones. And if that’s not enough chocolate for you, you’ll get to take home a decadent chocolate
milk with chocolate drizzle. Can you say chocolate overload! Reminder: Remember to pack morning
tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Friday 2ND JULY 2021 – Adventure Day
Adventure is…out there? I’ve forgotten where the adventure is and that can only mean one thing.
IN HOUSE
It’s time to put on our sashes and brave the wilderness – our OOSH obstacle course! Let’s go out
in search of adventure together! Today we will be focusing on group games and working together
in order to reach the end goal of the day, which we will find out upon finishing the adventure!
We will finish off the day with the movie UP. Reminder: Remember to pack morning tea, lunch
and afternoon tea.

WEEK TWO OF VACATION CARE (5TH – 9TH JULY 2021)
Monday 5TH JULY 2021 – Disney Day
Today students will be exiting the real world into their very own kingdom. They will be sorted into
IN HOUSE
and competing from the kingdoms of Arendale, Pixie Hollow and Pridelands. The current rulers of
this kingdom are those of OOSHdom. Let’s see if any can challenge the ruling kingdom? Today
will be filled with group games and fun. Marble jars will be used to track the winnings of the
competing kingdoms. To sate our hunger, we will be lunching on sandwiches, snacks and some
punch! Reminder: Remember to pack morning and afternoon tea.
Tuesday 6TH JULY 2021 – Tik Tocs Play Centre, Prestons (Capped at 45)
EXCURSION
Today we will be taking a private bus from OOSH and travelling to Tik Tocs Play Centre in
Prestons. Tik Tocs is one of Sydney’s largest indoor play centres. Come and enjoy the slides, climb
the mazes and enjoy the ball pit and have a crazy time! After all the crazy fun we will be
lunching on chicken nuggets and chips, yum! Jugs of water and cordial are also supplied. Since
this is an excursion, please remember to pack your child’s red OOSH hat! Reminder: Remember
to pack morning and afternoon tea.
Wednesday 7TH JULY 2021 – Kidchella
IN HOUSE
If you missed going to concerts in 2020? Well get ready to party, because today is your lucky
day, as OOSH will be hosting its first ever Kidchella event. We will be decorating our own T-shirts
as bright as we can make them, to match the festival scene. We’ve got bubbles, temporary
tattoos and face painting because it’s all about expressing yourself! There will be a disco and
some musical games as well., and to top off all the fun, one word – Pinata! Reminder: Please
remember to pack morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Thursday 8TH JULY 2021 – The Unicorn Experience (Capped at 50)
INCURSION
The most magical and enchanting incursion ever! What is it you ask? Well today Oatley OOSH
will be welcoming 2 unicorns: Princess and Knight! We will get to meet the unicorns, brush their
hair, watch them do tricks and learn special unicorn communication skills! We will also be
learning how to properly take care and look after these amazing creatures. So come and join us
for some magical fun! You can even dress up if you would like too. Reminder: Remember to pack
morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Friday 9TH JULY 2021 – State of Origin
IN HOUSE
Come dressed in blue for New South Wales or red for Queensland and support your team for the
final game of State of Origin 2021! We will be playing different sporting games throughout the
day such as touch footy and capture the flag. Which team will dominate? So wear your favourite
colours and come join us for heaps of fun! Reminder: Remember to pack morning tea, lunch and
afternoon tea.

WEEK THREE OF VACATION CARE (12 TH JULY 2021)
Monday 12TH JULY 2021 – Pyjama Movie Day
IN HOUSE
To celebrate the last day of vacation care we will be watching a movie, while enjoying our basket
of yummy treats. Come dressed in your comfiest pyjamas and bring along a pillow and blanket to
snuggle into! Afterwards we will be playing some group games with prizes up for grabs! So come
along and chill out at OOSH before the school term begins again! Reminder: Please remember to
pack morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for your child.
Monday 12th JULY - ST JOSEPH’S RETURN TO SCHOOL.

The centre will be open from 7:00am – 6:00pm every day. A late fee will be charged to anyone who
is collected after 6:00pm.
Breakfast is available for the children if needed.
Children should be wearing a shirt with sleeves (no singlet tops) and a hat as part as our Sun Safe
policy. Children must wear closed in shoes for safety: no thongs/crocs/sandals.
PLEASE PACK A SUITABLE AMOUNT OF FOOD FOR THE DAY – MORNING TEA, LUNCH,
AFTERNOON TEA AND A REFILLABLE DRINK BOTTLE.
Oatley OOSH is a NUT FREE ZONE.. Please do not pack nuts or nut products for your child,
including Nutella.
Please note on days that lunch is provided, you will still need to pack morning tea and afternoon
tea for your child. We do not provide morning or afternoon tea during vacation care. Unprovided
meal fee per child/per day is $20.
Don’t forget to sign up for Class Dojo so educators are able to send photos of your child’s day. A
consent letter will need to be filled, and the app downloaded. We will send you an invite which you
accept and the rest is easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Tues 13th JULY 2021 - Oatley Public School return for Term 3
(Normal BSC & ASC session commences on Monday for St Joseph’s and on Tuesday
for Oatley Public School).
