One suggestion was RV rental and road
trips. By using an RV, you don't have to
worry about a hotel's cleanliness or social
distancing because you have a place to
rest.

In addition, you have an onboard kitchen
so that you can prepare your own meals,
still eat what you are accustomed to and
not need to worry about who prepared
your meal.

You do not need to own your own RV, nor
do you need a special type of driver's
license to operate one.

and questions regarding insurance and
other helpful information. Hot Springs, Arkansas

WHY WE NEED SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MASKS
Research has indicated that placental insufficiency has been linked to
mothers with Covid-19. We know that the Coronarivus effects the
lungs and respiratory system. The respiratory system for a fetus is the
placenta.

The CDC says, "Practice social distancing if you go out. COVID-19
spreads mainly among people who are in close contact (within about 6
feet) for a prolonged period. Spread happens when an infected person
coughs, sneezes, or talks, and droplets from their mouth or nose are
launched into the air and land in the mouths or noses of people
nearby. The droplets can also be inhaled into the lungs. Recent studies
indicate that people who are infected but do not have symptoms likely
also play a role in the spread of COVID-19."

                                     What Is Causation?
When someone is involved in a car wreck, a slip and fall, medical malpractice or something similar,
it could fall under the area of law called negligence. In the law of negligence, there are four distinct
elements which must be proven. Those elements are the following:

DUTY
BREACH OF DUTY
CAUSATION
DAMAGES

Causation is the legal connection between
an act (or lack of action when required)
and an injury. If a plaintiff, the person(s)
bringing a lawsuit in this context, has a
problem proving all these elements, the
case will not be a success. In the area of
causation, there must be evidence
that ties the actions of the Defendant
(wrongdoer) to the injury. This is causation in its most basic breakdown.

In birth injury and medical malpractice cases, medical experts must give medical opinions as to
these issues. For example, there must be medical expert testimony that departure from the
standard of care is what caused the injury to the plaintiff. A medical expert can give an opinion as
to causation by reviewing all the relevant information available in the medical records and the facts
associated with the case. The defendant(s) in the lawsuit will have an opportunity to understand
the plaintiff’s causation opinions through discovery, and this includes review of written reports and
deposition testimony.

In cases such as serious car wrecks, tractor trailers/18--wheelers and some slip and falls, experts
may be needed, as well. However, in many smaller car wrecks, an expert may not be required and
the plaintiff (or any witnesses on the plaintiff's behalf) could testify to causation. An example
would be:

Plaintiff's Witness: The Plaintiff was in front of me. Our light turned green and
we started through the intersection, when the defendant t-boned the
              plaintiff's car from the right.
With the above general example, you can see how causation can be proven in different cases.
Remember, each and every case is different. If you have questions and are in the middle of a case,
speak with your attorney about causation as it pertains to evidence in your case.
