Paediatric Integrated Neuro-rehabilitation
                                           Service (PINS) AHP Training Programme

The Paediatric Integrated Neuro-rehabilitation Service (PINS) is a comprehensive
programme that provides children with neuro-disabilities with a continuum of
care between the tertiary hospital and the community. It aims to coordinate
neuro-rehabilitation services to optimise care for the child and family.

PINS Objectives:
1. Provide anticipatory care for children with neuro-disability through establishing a network of
   community partners.
2. Provide training to community healthcare professionals in the management of children with
   neuro-disability.
3. Provide patient-centred and family-centered care for children with neuro-disability by establishing a
seamless transition between services, and integration to home, school, and the community.

AHP Training Programme
The PINS AHP training programme is developed for occupational therapists, physiotherapists and
speech therapists working in paediatric settings. The training aims to provide an understanding of the
scope of practice and relevant knowledge associated with paediatric neuro-rehabilitation.

The training programme consists of a common introductory module and profession-specific modules.
Please refer to individual training overviews for detailed information on training modules.

This training is open to all occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech therapists with full
registration under the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
