Happenings
• Junior counselors are visiting all junior
  English classes from now through the
  beginning of next semester to talk about
  senior schedules and answer student
  questions.
• We are available for program
  planning/college planning appointments
  by request.
• Please be aware that the College Board
  has discontinued the Essay portion of
  the SAT and the SAT Subject Tests this
  year.

Almost 70% of Seniors have applied to college.
• Many of the remaining college-bound Seniors are
  planning on applying to Bucks County Community
  College.

• Mid-year (1st SEM) Grades are automatically sent
  to all schools we’ve sent transcripts to (Naviance)

• Students should have submitted the FAFSA and CSS
  Profile (if required).
• PA State Grant application pops up after submitting the
  FAFSA.
• PA State Grant Program: Apply or Renew Information |
  PHEAA.
• Look for the Financial Aid Summary notices from
  Colleges.

Merit Based
• Many colleges will automatically consider students for
  Merit based aid when they apply.
• Some colleges do require a separate application (check
  school’s website).

• Fri, January 8 (8:00 AM) – Sun, February 7 (11:59 PM):
                               Portal open for student input of course requests
• Mon, February 8 - Wed, March 17:
                                Counselors share PP info, meet students/review course requests

• Fri, March 26:                Verification Forms available on the Portal

• Wed, March 31:               Parents sign/return Verifications only if changes being made.

• Fri, April 2, 2021:          No changes to student requests permitted after this date (See
                               Course Change Policy, Program of Studies, page 3).
