 PIPE CREEK PIPELINE
News, notes, and updates about our church family at Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church

From the Pastor’s Pen
One of the Session’s primary goals is to
“open our doors” to the community. June
2021 is a great example of how we are
working toward that goal.

As you see in the calendar, the Hill Country
Samaritans are partnering with us in a
number of ways to further the Kingdom of
God. You will be able to meet them during
worship on June 13th. They will explain
what they are doing to serve the
community. They will also provide “special
music” during worship.

The Lifeline Screening folks will be here
June 15 to conduct their screening for worship and fellowship that will make
assessments for people in the community your summer enjoyable.
from 9am – 5pm.
God be with you and your family always!
We will have Vacation Bible School on June Duane Manning

Theme for the Month:

Jesus Teaches through Stories and Actions

June is the beginning of Ordinary time for
the rest of the Church calendar until we
begin the season of Advent. We will read
some familiar stories of Jesus ministry as
told in the Gospel of Mark. Jesus teaches
through stories (Parables).

We begin as Jesus describes how the
Kingdom of God will grow which is similar
to how plants begin with just a small seed.

On June 20th, we celebrate Father’s Day
and also see Jesus calm the storm while he
and the disciples are out on the water.

us. That loved one can be a human family
