Dear Colleague,

During these unprecedented times, Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association, Iowa Podiatric Medical
Society, and Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association have partnered to offer a joint conference this
year. We are pleased to welcome you to the virtual Midwest Tri-State Foot & Ankle Conference on
November 5-7, 2020!

The conference will enhance your skills in a broad range of surgical and medical areas including
sports medicine, dermatology, limb salvage, and forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstructive surgery.
The tracks will include panel discussions and short presentations by Minnesota and Iowa residents to
keep attendees engaged. In addition, the programming will feature a surgical coding track for the
foot and ankle surgeon as well as clinical billing and coding lectures to highlight important changes
coming soon.

We will also offer a risk management lecture. PICA policyholders who attend this risk management
session are eligible for up to a 10-percent premium discount. Those attendees who have participated in
other meetings or the home study and received a 10-percent PICA discount, can receive an additional
5-percent discount for attending this risk management session up to a 15-percent total discount.

Attendees will be able to ask speakers questions in real time to facilitate dialogue and engagement
throughout the conference enhancing the educational experience.

GENERAL INFORMATION
VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
The conference is classified as an internet live activity by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. You
must login and view the live lectures to earn your CECH. CECH will not be available after the conference
ends.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical
Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The Minnesota Podiatric Medical
Association has approved this activity for a maximum of 20 continuing education contact hours.

IOWA & NEBRASKA REQUIREMENTS
This conference meets the continuing education requirements for podiatric physicians in Iowa and
Nebraska.

INTENDED AUDIENCE
The intended audience for the conference is podiatric physicians.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A $50.00 administrative fee will be charged to any cancellation. Cancellations must be made in writing
to info@mnpma.org by October 1, 2020. No refunds for cancellations will be honored after this date.

Jesseka Kaldenberg, DPM

Tracey Vlahovic, DPM

Dr Tracey Vlahovic is a Clinical Professor at the Temple University School of Podiatric

podiatrist to be a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine, Royal College of

USA to complete a fellowship in podiatric dermatology from St. Luke’s Hospital in
Allentown, PA and currently teaches the Dermatology course at Temple University

“Clinician of the Year” and “Teacher of the Year” by her students. She has lectured
across the US, has authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals, written two books
(one of which is entitled “Onychomycosis”) is involved in multiple clinical research
trials for various dermatological therapies and devices. She was an investigator for the Phase 3 trials
of both Jublia and Luzu. In her spare time, she is a latin ballroom dancer which she started doing as
an undergrad at Yale University.
