                              purchasing?
                           • What factors still represent the limitations of AI

       Climate-neutral brochure printing
Our printing company has determined our individual CO2
footprint. Based on the results and in collaboration with
the climate protection expert Climate Partner, we support
a recognised climate protection project that enables us to
       balance our CO2 requirements.

Recycling of the participant name tags
For the first time, we will be using recyclable name tags for
our participants this year. Simply deposit your name tag,
including the lanyard, in the boxes provided in the hotel
lobby after the conclusion of the event. Clips and lanyards
can be used again, so the recycling is not limited to the
       plastic.

       Sustainable ball pens
The 54th Symposium on Procurement and Logistics will be
the first time – followed by all our subsequent events – that
we use ball pens, made from renewable resources, that are
both long-lasting and biodegradable. Green electricity is
used for their manufacture from organic plastics and they
       are completely manufactured in Germany.

Green Engage Initiative of the InterContinental Hotels
Our congress hotel and its employees practise the handling
of resources in full awareness of their value. Electricity is
generated completely from renewable energy sources; the
establishment’s own combined heating and power plant
produces environmentally favourable electric and ther-
mal energy; biodegradable cleaning agents and a greater
proportion of recyclable substances are used. In addition,
regional and seasonal products are integral elements of
       meal planning.

                                 DJANE CAT
Enjoy your dinner with Djane Cat. She
                                        represents a magnificently refreshing
form of DJing that ensures brilliant
                                           musical experiences. No one style
dominates her sets; they are instead a
mix of styles that is absolutely unique
and a lot of fun. Her sets move between
the playful to the delicate to the freaky.
Joined by singer Eva Diamante, she will
find the right songs at the right time!

meting into the depths while all the time having solid ground un-
der your feet.
Or enjoy underwater worlds during a virtual dive, refresh your
skateboarding skills or feel like a true football profession while
making great goalie saves, heading the ball and racing your
opponent down the touchline.

                                         rhythms generate thrilling live power.

With the new cluster of six key topics, the aim is not only to provide the participants
with a thematic classification of the exhibition but at the same time strengthen the
connection between exhibition and breakout sessions. There the sessions are linked
to these six key topics which you can find in the program overview.

For the keyword register, the partners and exhibitors were allowed to choose one
of the six key clusters for which they are primarily responsible. Additionally, partners
and exhibitors had the opportunity to state five other key topics from the different
                            clusters.

Further useful information on the partners and exhibitors can be found in the
individual company profiles in this guide.

Image Rights – Transfer of Rights
As in previous years, we would like to capture some impressions of this year’s symposium as
well in pictures. We have engaged teams of professionals to take the photographs. However,
the photographs will be produced and published exclusively for use in public reports about
the association’s activities and for its own promotional purposes. The transfer of the images to
third parties for commercial purposes is not intended. If you, a participant at the symposium,
do not agree to the publication, please notify the photographer or the camera team either by
a hand signal or at check-in.

Use of RFID/Name Tag
We are once again using the RFID-supported system for congress admission this year so that
you enjoy the greatest convenience at the location. Your name tag with integrated RFID trans-
ponder is your ticket for admission to the event.

Please always attach your name tag in a clearly visible position. In addition, we would like to
ask you to carry an official photo document with you that you can use to identify yourself
should there be any problems with your name tag. A new feature this year is that, subject to
your consent, our exhibitors can scan the information on your name badge. This saves you ha-
ving to exchange business cards and you will receive the product information directly by email.

If you prefer an anonymous assignment of the identification number to your data while at the
event, you can request the change at check-in during the congress.
