All Runners Are Beautiful The philosophy of ALL RUNNERS ARE BEAUTIFUL, embraced by Napoli Running, is to bring together runners of all kinds, nationalities, convictions and abilities, in running races to celebrate diversity and the common love for sport, setting aside social, physical and cultural differences. The spirit of “All Runners Are Beautiful” embraced by us in Naples, is embodied in a young man from the Czech Republic. A runner who made stubbornness the secret of his success. He is Lukáš Petrusek. Lukáš suffers from achondroplasia, a congenital pathology that prevented proper development and could have even stopped him from walking, and stunted his growth at 140 cm. 15A Special Welcome
WELCOME DESKS
Dedicated welcome points have been set up to give a warm welcome to all runners
coming from outside the city. Moreover, colorful video of Napoli Running events
illuminated the airport’s departure area throughout the weekend of the event. A special
thanks goes to the International Airport of Naples and to the team of the Hotel NH
Napoli Panorama and to the team of Napoli Running volunteers who warmly welcomed
runners from all over the world.
MUSIC ON THE COURSE AND RHYTHM FOR THE RUNNERS
The music Band of the city of Bacoli gave rhythm during the weekend of the
Napoli City Half Marathon. They entertained the crowds at the Sport Expo and
along the route with horns blowing and drums pounding. The two stations on
the route were located at the exit of the Lazio tunnel (on the Fuorigrotta side)
and in Piazza del Plebiscito.

Program, an ambitious fundraising project that

of their choice, contributing to the amount available

Marathon has started the Charity Program in close
collaboration with Sport Senza Frontiere Onlus,
”sport without borders”, a non-profit organization
that operates in the world of children and sports and
which has gained important experience in the field
of fundraising during running events. The goal is to
involve more and more non-profit organizations in
the area.

The Sport Expo, hosted in the pavilions of the Mostra d’Oltremare, official partner of the event, represented the opportunity to
feature all the latest updates regarding the world of sport, tourism and leisure. The Sport Expo opened its doors to the public
and to all runners from Friday 21 February at 14:00 until Saturday 22 February at 20:00, representing the center of a three-
day running event. Local and national companies, public institutions, sports associations and charities have all contributed to
the success of the event.

The 2020 edition of the Family Run & Friends has benefited to attend and it is free for children up to 10 years and for
