From the Environmental Stewardship Ministry:
Solar Panel Display on May 29-30
On Memorial Day weekend in the church narthex, one of our new solar panels
will be displayed. This panel, one of the 130 destined for the roof of the school gym,
has been signed on the back by St. Thomas More school students in witness of their
concern for Creation. St. Thomas More is helping Creation by generating our own
energy to reduce our usage of fossil fuels, and this will also reduce our energy bills
by an estimated $170,000 over the 25-year life of the panels. The current schedule
for installation is the week of July 5.
This project is our first solar at St. Thomas More. Currently being planned is a larger
array for the flat roof of the church and the middle school. Please pray for a greater
awareness of our responsibility for all Creation. If you wish to contribute financially,
you could send a check to St. Thomas More with “solar project” on the memo line.

program Seasons of Hope for those suffering from
the loss of a loved one – recently or long ago. The
group support program will run six consecutive
