3Business Challenge & Objectives
The Love’s store managers and higher did not have a central location to check key
metrics related to training, performance evaluation, retention, turn over, and HR
transactions. Though they have SuccessFactors, managers needed to logon to
different modules to check different factors. Love’s store managers and company
leadership ultimately wanted a central location to view a summary and detailed
breakdowns of all relevant HR related KPIs and store metrics.
The key objectives were to build a Roster card app with the following features:
• Mobile friendly
• Interactive
• Landing page with a personalized view
• Provide a summary of all HR related store metrics.
4Project / Use Case Details
This project was implemented by using Agile methodology, which fits perfectly for
this project. Other technologies that were used include:
- Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
- SQL and Web Intelligence (WEBI)
- SDI (Smart data integration) – replication task from SQL server to SAP HANA
DB
The Roster Card app is used by our Store Managers, District Managers, Divisional
Directors, VP’s and EVP’s. This is the second most important report that the
management uses apart from P&L’s. Roster card also has the printing functionality
where if the manager wanted to print the report they can print it and make notes.
The app also has alerts functionality where we can alert if any employee is overdue
on training completion or Performance Evaluations. We have created 9 different
Roster Card types for different lines of businesses.
