                        The Scenic Rim region is rich in history and is home to a number of fascinating and well-
                        resourced museums which play a key role in preserving our region’s cultural heritage. The
                        Scenic Rim Heritage Network (SRHN) is open to community museums and heritage groups

                                                                                      This informative, practical and fun
                                                                                      workshop gives participants the
                                                                                      opportunity to build quality Aussie
                                                                                      wildlife nest boxes that will help
                                                                                      local wildlife for years to come. As
                                                                                      trees can take 100 or more years to
                                                                                      develop hollows, these nest boxes
                                                                                      provide shelter and protection that
                                                                                      assist in the restoration of native
                                                                                      wildlife habitat. Participants will be
                                                                                      required to work in pairs and bring
                                                                                      their own cordless drill.

                          damage precious remnant vegetation and impact community
                          health and recreation. This natural resource management
                          workshop focuses on best practice management of local
                          weeds, particularly those found near waterways.
