Registration for all programs is ongoing and is conducted on a
first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration and supplying your
own materials is required unless otherwise stated. Please note
that full payment must be received at the time of registration.

Employment in aquatics is a rich and rewarding experience
that allows you to gain valuable leadership, communication
and teamwork skills that can be used in a whole host of em-
ployment environments. People of all ages will look up to
you! Lifeguard/Instructors and Waterslide Attendants are
needed for all public indoor or outdoor pool operations
and positions are hired for regularly throughout the year.
For employment as a Lifeguard/Instructor at most pools
you will need to have both the Lifeguard and a Red Cross
Water Safety Instructor certification.

AGES 7 & UP
Springboard Diving teaches children agility, coordination and flexibility. It is a highly
technical sport full of fun challenges; Learning to coordinate your arms and legs
while jumping off a moving diving board, falling gracefully, landing within a meter of
the board and staying in control the entire time. These lessons provide a building
block for children to develop at all skill levels. Participants will learn movement
patterns and foundation skills that are essential for being able to move on and
perform more difficult dives.
Minimum age: 7 years (It’s suggested that the child be comfortable
with entering the water head first and to be comfortable in deep
water.
