Nursery Schools offer a variety of services to children and parents including: flexible attendance patterns, longer days, lunches, breakfasts and other snacks as well as pre-nursery
groups. Parents will contribute to the cost of some of these services. All nursery schools operate a three term entry (September, January and after Easter) for three-and four-year olds,
where they have places available. All nursery schools also offer free Early Years Education places for two-year-olds and the extended entitlement for three- and four-year-olds often
described as 30 hours of free childcare. Eligibility criteria are in place for these services so parents need to make an application for a 2 year old place via Together for Children’s Family
Portal. Further information can be found at https://www.togetherforchildren.org.uk/families/childcare Parents can apply for a free 30 hours childcare place by visiting the HMRC Childcare
