Dear Colleagues

The Combined meeting of the South African Orthopaedic
Association is now less than 2 months away. It will take place from
the 2nd to the 6th of September 2019 in Durban, South Africa at the
International Convention Centre. Our theme is Unity in Diversity.

On behalf of the SAOA and the Congress Committee I would like
to invite you to all attend. Arrangements are at an advanced stage
and 32 International invited speakers have agreed to participate.
This in conjunction with our local experts represents a phenomenal
opportunity to be exposed to the latest opinion leaders in all

The program has contributions from 10 subspecialty groups and
includes professional development sections. I would like to thank the
Orthopaedic trade for their participation. The latest developments
in implants and technology will be displayed and presented.

There are parallel sessions where the best Registrar papers will
compete for the GT du Toit prize.

This combined format also represents an opportunity for members
