An amazing sonic voyage through
the streets of Goole
Junction brings acclaimed international
artist Ray Lee’s sonic masterpiece,
Congregation to Goole this October,
in a celebration of community and
being together again.
Congregation is an interactive, sonic
adventure that can be enjoyed solo
or in groups of up to four people. It
takes place in the streets and parks of
our town.
In Congregation you are made a guardian
of a magical, silver sphere which
seemingly has a mind of its own. The
sphere takes each audience
member on a listening voyage,
telling them which way to walk
by the sounds it makes – go in
the right direction and your
sphere will make a happy
sound. Take a wrong turn and
your sphere will alert you with
unhappy noises.
Each individual orb will guide its
guardian on a different journey
through familiar streets and less
explored corners to a secret
location where all the spheres
come together in a symphonic,
pulsating web of electronic
sound.

The exact location of your mystery start point in Goole Town
Centre will be sent to you by email before the event.
Participants will need to be able to walk for around 20-30 minutes.
The event lasts around 40 minutes in total.
