[3]Updates: COVID-19 as of 6 December
Situation overview:
• Cox’s Bazar district: A total of
56 new COVID-19 positive cases
were reported in Cox’s Bazar
district from 30 November- 6
December 2020 according to the
Civil Surgeon Office.
• Among FDMN/ Rohingya
refugees: 7 COVID-19 cases were
reported from 30 November- 6
December 2020.
• Currently, 44 Rohingya
refugees are in home quarantine
in the camps as of 6 December
2020.
• From the host community:
There have been 49 positive
cases in the reporting period.

disasters and other shocks.

Provide safe and dignified living conditions to reduce suffering and increase

Why?
Phases of construction and shelter support have produced a wide
range of shelters.
This study will provide a better understanding of the current
shelter and the living conditions

How?
• A random sample of 100 shelters in each camp to be surveyed
• Survey questions use the standards previously developed by
the TWiG and approved the SAG
• Data collection by observation, measurement, testimony
• Measures include:
• Full compliance
• Partial compliance
• Not compliant
