General programs
> Programs in 1 year, 2 years or 3 years:
• Professional Photography
• Professional Photography + Video/3D
• The Entrepreneurial Photographer (RNCP level 7)
• European Master of Professional Photography
These programs are offered in English or French, in Paris. They aim to
acquire a high level of versatility in professional photography:
photo reportage, studio, fashion photography, corporate photography,
digital image processing and management, video and 3D. Students
master photographic technique in all its artistic and technical
dimensions. They graduate - ready to go - with their own website and
professional portfolio.
Students enrolled in the Entrepreneurial Photographer or
European Master Professional Photography programs participate
in the Expert Modules during the last part of the program. They are
accompanied in the elaboration of their "business plan" by recognized
professionals in order to create their own company. These modules
allow students to deepen their knowledge of the business side of
photography. Supervision is provided by a team of highly qualified
professionals in spacious facilities equipped with state-of-the-art
equipment.

Short programs
> Short photography programs, from 1 week to
5 months:
• Professional Photography Fundamentals in 5 months in Paris
• Workshops in Paris and in London
• Specialized workshops in Biarritz
The Professional Photography Fundamentals program aims
to acquire the fundamentals of studio shooting and photo-
reportage. It gives an overview of the skills to master to
become a professional photographer. Intake in January
each year.
The credits acquired during this program allow students
wishing to become professionals to continue their studies at
Spéos by integrating the second part of the following 2-year
or 3-year programs:
• Professional photography,
• The Entrepreneurial Photographer (RNCP level 7)
• European Master of Photography.

Creative Documentary
and Photojournalism
by Magnum Photos & Spéos
> Program in English, in 1 year in Paris
> From September to July
This program is designed for students who wish to pursue a
career in documentary photography and/or photojournalism,
in the visual storytelling tradition of Magnum Photos.
This program is intended for students who have the maturity
and skills to work on long-term thematic projects. Assignments
include event photojournalism, short photo essays and a long-
term in-depth personal project.
The formal program is delivered by Spéos and its appointed
teachers, and supplemented by Magnum photographers and
staff.

Fashion, Luxury &
Beauty Photography
> Program in English, in 1 year, in Paris
> From September to July
This program is aimed at students who wish to evolve exclusively
in the domains of fashion, luxury and beauty.
Students have the opportunity to work on products of major
brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Gucci, Issey Miyake, La
Prairie, Lacoste, Dior, Longchamp… with an artistic direction
respecting the brand universe of these big names.
This program provides students with the foundations necessary
to develop a critical reflection on fashion / luxury / beauty
photography, while providing technical advice and educational
support to develop their individual practice.

Photojournalism
by Polka & Spéos
> Program in 5 months, in English or in French,
in Paris
> Intake in January
This program is for students who wish to evolve in photo-
journalism. The goal is to acquire the basics of shooting
whatever the situations, and learn to tell a story in different
forms (press, book publishing or artistic installation).
Supervised by the Spéos instructors and the Polka team, the
students will follow a program combining lectures,
workshops and meetings with professionals and renowned
photojournalists.

Online Course
> Commercial + Fine Art Portrait Photography
> A 14-week immersive online course taught in English
The Commercial + Fine Art Portrait Photography program is a 100%
immersive online program aimed at students wishing to learn
staged portrait photography, develop their personal style and
create their own portfolio. Taught in English only, this program
lasts 14 consecutive weeks.
The program is divided into 6 main sections, each one including
several chapters. Each chapter comprises:
• A professionally shot video lecture lasting between 30 and 60
minutes, illustrated with real-life commercial cases and fine-art
projects. Lectures are made available online according to a
defined schedule. Once they are online, students can watch
and read them at any time.
• A textual/illustrative recap with additional case analysis, and
extra examples.
• Practical activities.
Each chapter requires 2 to 4 hours of student’s attention. Practical
activities following each chapter require 2 to 8 hours of personal work.
