The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is the largest national
organization dedicated to dental student concerns, with 93% membership among
dental students from 66 dental schools throughout the nation. Our chapter at the
University of Oklahoma takes pride in our broad scope of involvement in the
Oklahoma dental community.
Support from sponsors directly impacts our students. With numerous events

throughout the year, our sponsors provide many leadership and networking
opportunities. Sponsors participate in our Loupes Fair, bi-annual Vendor Fair, and
Casino Royale. We also support our local community through our annual Miles for
Smiles 5K which raised more than $10,000 over the last 2 years to benefit Good
Shepherd Ministries!
Student representatives attend national & regional conferences such as the
National Leadership Conference, Annual Session, ADA Dentist and Student
Lobby Day, and the District 9 Leadership Retreat
Without the support of our sponsors, our organization would not be as successful.
Creating a partnership provides an avenue for companies to build awareness and

Miles for Smiles 5K
The Oklahoma ASDA chapter is proud to announce the third annual Miles for Smiles 5K! All benefits
will go to Good Shepherd Ministries. Our goal is to ensure that Good Shepherd remains a staple in
the OKC community, with adequate funding and assistance for many years to come. Oklahoma
ASDA raised over $10,000 for Good Shepherd Ministries in the last 2 years! Lace up those
