Basildon Pride is a registered LGBTQ+ charity that serves the Basildon Borough
and surrounding areas. We are proud to be part of such a diverse community
and our aim is to positively impact peoples’ lives both within and outside
the LGBTQ+ community.
Through our annual Basildon Pride parade and festival, we work tirelessly to deliver
a free entry experience that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and culture within
the community, whilst inviting others to learn about LGBTQ+ issues.
With our Basildon Pride Everyday programme, we reflect and showcase
LGBTQ+ history, help other local charities fundraise or deliver projects by
involving the LGBTQ+ community and we aim to create a LGBTQ+ support
network that brings people of similar needs together.
