Who we are
Wett Ones Swimming Club Inc. is a Masters Swimming Australia‐
affiliated swimming club providing an inclusive, competitive and social
swimming club for the gay and lesbian community, and our friends, in
Sydney. We provide professional coaching, access to competitive
events and social activities for our members and friends.
With a membership of more than 130 people, we are the largest Masters
Swimming club in New South Wales and the oldest and largest gay and
lesbian swimming club in Australia.
Founded in 1991, today we provide up to nine coached swimming classes
per week for male and female swimmers ranging in age from their early
20s to their 70s. We swim at Sydney University, Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton
and Victoria Park Pools in inner Sydney.
Wett Ones is a proud member of Team Sydney, IGLA (International
LGBTQ+ Aquatics), the Gay Games Federation (GGF) and Masters
Swimming Australia.
