SHARE 1001 STORIES WITH ME
Library
Ages 0 to 6
This program aims to promote a taste for reading in children during a key period in
the development of their reading habits and language.
All children aged 0 to 6, who are library members or who join the library, can
now sign up for the program. A kit containing fun, colourful materials will be
given to participants.
Each child will receive a height chart, a bookmark and stickers and parents will have
access to a leaflet and video clips presenting inspiring tips to facilitate reading at home.
For each block of 20 books read with your child, you can complete the caterpillar’s
tummy found in the kit and bring it back to the library to make a reading caterpillar!
To learn more about this program and sign up your child, come and see us at the
library. It is never too early to tell stories or listen to stories!
