                                                Through the EURES network, VDAB has worked closely with public
                                                employment services from other European countries. VDAB uses this
                                                EURES network to fill structural bottleneck vacancies in Flanders with
                                                candidates from other European countries that have a labour surplus.
                                                These initiatives include jobs for engineers, IT specialists and nurses
                                                that cannot be filled in the short and medium term in Flanders with
                                                labour from Flanders and/or Brussels and Wallonia. VDAB has filled
                                                736 jobs through these actions from May 2012 to the current date.
