Welcome
It is with great pleasure and excitement that USA Field Hockey will be hosting
the 2021 Indoor Pan American Cups (IPAC) for both women and men in The
Training Center, Spring City, Pennsylvania, United States from Friday June
25th to Sunday, June 27th, 2021. We have created this document to provide
you with useful information regarding the event. Please read through all the
details.
The tournament matches will begin for the women and men on June 25th,
-June 27th 2021 USA Field Hockey and Pan American Cups looks forward to
welcoming all teams in the days preceding the start of the tournament.
2Field Logistics
Competition Playing Surface:
FIH approved indoor surface.
Competition Balls:
FIH approved indoor balls
Practice Pitch:
A second practice / warm-up pitch will be available adjacent to the competition
playing surface.
Teams requesting training sessions before June 23rd 2021 will find more
information on the practice pitch rental costs and scheduling on page 10.
4Transportation
Transportation:
Transportation will be provided on arrival and departure for all IPAC teams
arriving at the official designated airports and staying at the official designated
hotels.

• Philadelphia International (PHL) - 30/ 50 minutes from venue/
hotels

Restaurants: There is no restaurant at the hotel. Teams staying at
the Holiday Inn will need to cater their meals through delivery
7Recommendation
We highly recommend all teams to stay at the Crown Plaza, to improve safety
and the overall operation.
Teams will be provided of 2 vans , 10 seats each, (self drive).
Teams will be responsible for their traveling health insurance covering Covid-
19 and PCR tests as detailed in the Tournament Protocol.

8Pitch Rentals
Additional Practice Pitch Rentals:
Teams requesting training sessions before June 19th through June 22nd will
incur the following costs for Pitch Rental. Earlier rental can be arranged with
proper notice. All inquiries about training sessions prior to the date should be
directed Steve Horgan, shorgan@usafieldhockey.com
Costs:
Indoor Court $125 per hour
9Miscellaneous
Meeting Rooms:
Meeting rooms will be arranged with the hotel for team use
Tournament Hotel Booking & Travel Information:
All bookings for hotels are to be made directly with the appropriate hotel contact.
Once hotel accommodations and travel arrangements have been made, you
will need to submit that information on Form A-General Team Information to
Laura Macchiotti at lauramac@panamhockey.org
Team Accreditation:
USA Field Hockey will be providing official team accreditation. More
information will be provided to the Team Contact.
Note that each team will get a maximum of 16 accreditations
