DISCOUNT PARTICIPATION RULES
Team Member Rate Rules:
• Advance reservations required (minimum three days).
• Team Members of the Strat, Aquarius, Rocky Gap, and Corporate can make
reservations only for hotels that are 30 or more miles from their place of
employment. (In case of emergency, the employee should call the local general
manager to request an exception.)
• Maximum of one room per stay is eligible for the discounted rate. Team Member
must be occupying room.
• To be used for leisure travel only; cannot be used for business travel.
• Reservations may be for no more than 5 nights in any 30-day period at the Team
Member Rate at the same hotel and no more than 7 days total at the same hotel
during a rolling 12-month period.
• An authorization form filled out by the Team Member’s supervisor must be
presented at check in along with a valid picture ID.
• Access the authorization form under Sharepoint’s “HR Documents – Best
Western”, or the Discount Book on Goldenteammember.com
• Fill out the top portion of the form.
• Present the form to your manager for completion and signature.
• Signing manager must attach a business card to the form.
• Team Member MUST present this form with attachments to the front desk of the
hotel where reservation is made.
• The Team Member may use the Friends & Family rate when he/she is not available
or will not be occupying the room.
• Payment must be established at check-in. Most hotels require a credit card at
check in.
• The above guidelines apply to hotels in both the U.S. and Canada.
Friends & Family Rate Rules:
• Available to friends and family members of Team Members of the Strat, Aquarius,
Rocky Gap, and Corporate.
• To be used for leisure travel only; not to be used for business travel.
• Rates can be booked up to and including the day of arrival.
• Friend or family member must present authorization form at check-in.
• The Team Member is not required to stay at the same time as their friend(s) or
family.
