INDONESIA CEMENT ASSOCIATION (ICA)
Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends,
We are pleased to inform you that Indonesia Cement Association (ICA) will host The 25th ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers
(AFCM) Technical Symposium & Exhibition and would like to extend our very warmest invitation to you to participate in The 25th
ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) Technical Symposium & Exhibition in Bandung, Indonesia on 4 – 6 April 2018
at Trans Luxury Hotel, Bandung, bearing the theme “The Green Technology for Cement Industry”.
We all know cement industry, like the rest of the construction industry, is facing a number of challenges relating to energy resources,
CO2 emissions and the use of alternative material, as well as the growing environmental concerns that linked to climate change. In
line with its theme, The 25th ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) Technical Symposium & Exhibition will share and
discuss the future developments of cement production applying emerging green alternatives and the benefits they offer. Many of
these alternatives rely on technological advances that include energy-efficient and low carbon production methods.
The 25th ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) Technical Symposium & Exhibition is expected to have 400 attendees
from the cement industry and its supporting fields from the member countries of AFCM. Among the attendees are AFCM members,
government officials, company executives, professionals, vendors, operators, consultants, journalists, bankers, and fund
managers.
The selection of Bandung in West Java as the venue of the conference is not just because of its reputation as a tourist destination,
but more than that, it has proven record of hosting various kinds of international events, such as the Asian-African Conference in
1955 and its 60th comemoration in 2015. It is also an opportunity to see the boundless variety of unique sceneries as well as
countless traditional and cultural heritages of West Java.
Our social programs are designed to provide you with an excellent space for networking, business and entertainment. We trust that

ABOUT INDONESIA CEMENT CEMENT MANUFACTURERS
ASSOCIATION (ICA)
In the development of Indonesia Cement ASEAN is now not only to be a dynamically

published, are requested to submit paper with detail as IMPORTANT DATES

Selection of papers will initially be based on the abstracts. The successful authors will be notified and will be invited to submit the full
text. The text (manuscript and illustrations) should closely adhere to international publication standards. Any correspondence on
submission of the paper should be addressed directly to the Symposium Secretariat at the address given at the end of this
announcement. The official language of the Symposium is English with no translation facilities.
