On Thursday 11th February at 10.30am we are
planning to hold a coffee morning via Zoom. It
has been so long since we have been able to hold a coffee
morning in school and this will be a good opportunity to get together virtually.
A google form will be sent out to parents shortly. If you would like to join us
please complete the form and we will send you further information on how to join
us. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!

                        pieces of work done
                           on Seesaw by
                         James. He always
                         does all the tasks
                          and tries super
                        hard. We are really
                           proud of him!

This is Sophie’s work. She is amazing.
She does fantastic cutting and sticking
independently and she is always keen
to help around the class. Wonderful work!

Reception Acorns
Well done to Aseel for always completing
her home learning. She responds to Miss
Hardaker’s comments and sends lovely
replies. We are very impressed with her
work!

In Reception this week someone left behind a
huge mess, so we put on our detective heads
and started to look for clues. It didn’t take us
long to realise Jinji had returned! He visited us
lots over Christmas, played with our toys,
made a mess and then disappeared!
He did his best to help us out with our science
experiments, we looked at what would happen
if we placed him in different liquids. We also
played with food colouring; watching what
happens to it when you add it to when you
mix it with milk and washing up liquid.
Shout out to Marcus for his super reading and
writing. He also drew a fabulous picture of his
     Mum!

Thanks again to all the children who have been engaging
with the activities online. You have done some great work
and we love to see all your photos and videos every day!

This weeks home learner shout out goes to: Lexie. She has been doing some
absolutely amazing learning from home and we have loved to see all her hard
work. In particular we really enjoyed her maths counting video where she
managed to count all the way up to 49 independently, whilst doing her exercises.
Lexie also had a go at our boat challenge, where she made a boat out of tin foil
and then tested it to see how many pennies she could add before it would sink!
Lexie has also been doing some super 1:1 virtual reading. Well done Lexie keep up
the fantastic work.
