          NPH USA is a nonprofit organization which helps abandoned, orphaned and at-risk children
          in Latin American and the Caribbean. NPH USA was founded in 1954 in Cuernavaca, Mexico
          by Father William B. Wasson. Since then NPH has grown to transform the lives of children in
          nine countries (Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexi-
          co, Nicaragua, and Peru). To date, we are assisting 6,200 children in our homes and in the
          surrounding communities of our homes. We provide them with a safe home, food, clothing,
          health care, and education through University.

                                 All that Felicitas remembers about her life before NPH is living on
                                 the streets and spending a lot of time with many strange people.
                                 She rarely went to school and had to take care of her younger
                                 siblings. She was 9 when she and her siblings joined our family in
                                 Guatemala. Although she did not have adequate reading skills at
                                 the time, she now has aspirations to become a nurse. “I have a
                                 dream and know that I can achieve it with the help of my caregivers
                                 and the support I receive at NPH,” says Felicitas.
