Trilliums. We’ll also admire other spring friends in bloom. This will
be a casual stroll and a great chance to learn the names of some
common wildflowers. We will also plan to pull invasive Garlic
Mustard as we see it along the trail. Walk will last approximately 1 hr.

Earth Day Hike
Maple Wood Nature Center
Friday, April 22: 6:00 p.m.

This evening walk is to make up for the canceled January 1 First Day Hike. Spring woodland wildflowers
should be a carpet on the forest floor. Hopefully we’ll hear and see spring frogs and Wood Ducks too.
Dress warmly! Please RSVP to the Naturalist at 260-854-2225. Walk will last approximately 1 hr.
