IT'S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!
The semester is over, and the holiday season is here!
The lights are shining & faces are beaming! After all, it's
the most beautiful time of the year. With Christmas and
New Years around the corner, it's the perfect time to
rejuvenate and spend time with your friends and family.
In this edition, we take you through the events that
happened in PH in the last month, including the De-stress
party and a Holiday special coverage of events and
happenings in Singapore and the perfect list for
Christmas movies!

In the spirit of
HOLIDAY CLEANING!
PH is more than just a place to live? Yes, definitely. It is a place
to pay it forward as well. In October/November, PH organised
a Cluster Cleanliness Competition- ‘From House to Home’.
People got out of their rooms and cleaned their common
areas. The goal was to have the maximum partnership and the
most clean pantry! Here are the winners of the competition-

Cooling the
exam stress!
Scrumptious food, thrilling games and
heart warming company of PH mates, the
de-stress event organised on 14th
November had it all! All residents were
greeted with free gifts of relaxation like
neck pillows and eye masks and
comforted with delicious food including
Agli-olio pasta, potato wedges and
topped off with lovely chocolate eclairs.
Numerous games were organised like
Mario Kart, Archery and Bowling to help
liven the environment and remind the
stressed students of the joys of the To top it all off, the PH Coffee IG provided
university life. the residents with freshly prepared coffee
to help calm the nerves but up the energy!
If you missed this event, stress not, many
more events await you in the next
semester!

ANNUAL SOLAR ECLIPSE
Thursday, 26 December 2019 from 11:00-15:00
Service Centre Singapore
An annular solar eclipse happens when the Moon covers the Sun's
centre, leaving the Sun's visible outer edges to form a “ring of fire”
or annulus around the Moon. For the first time in many years,
Singapore would be able to witness the Sun reducing to a Ring of
Fire in the sky. Dozen telescopes will be set up in Science Centre's
Ecogarden to share the magnificent view of the Sun with everyone.
