Yuyuan Garden is the largest ancient garden with
Ming and Qing architectural styles in Shanghai. It
was built in 1559 and originally the private garden of
the Sichuan Buzheng Pan Yuanduan. After that, the
Yuyuan Garden turned to the hands of many people
and was devastated by many wars.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower started construction
in 1991 and was completed in 1994 with a total
height of 468 meters, and it is across the Huangpu
River from the Bund. The Oriental Pearl was the
tallest building in mainland China and was
overtaken by Shanghai World Financial Center in
2007

The Bund, an area in the heart of Shanghai. It is
1.5 kilometers long, from Yan'an East Road in the
south to the Waibaidu Bridge on the Suzhou River
in the north, to the Huangpu River in the east, and
to the west of the old Shanghai financial and
foreign trade institutions. The Bund is surrounded
by more than 20 historical buildings of different
styles, including eclecticism, Renaissance, and
early modern style. It is therefore known as the “World Architecture Exhibition Group”.

P.10ATTRACTIONS
Shanghai Chenghuang Temple is the most
important Taoist school in Shanghai. It is also a
cultural relic protection unit and a famous scenic
spot in Shanghai. This Temple was built in the first
year of Ming Yongle and was converted from the
original Huoguang. Since then, it has undergone
several expansions and reached its peak in the early
years of the Qing Dynasty.

The China Art Palace was founded in 1956,
precedes by the Shanghai Art Museum. In 2010, it is
housed in the former China Pavilion of Expo 2010. It is
one of the largest art museums in Asia. The museum is
mainly composed of Chinese modern and contemporary
artworks, with more than 14,000 collections, a total
construction area of 160,000 square meters, a display
area of 64,000 square meters, and 27 exhibition halls.
