Dear DSHA Parents and Guardians,
The DSHA Board of Directors has approved the 2021-2022 operating budget. Our tuition for next year has been
set at $15,075. Enclosed is additional information.
We have eliminated all student fees this year, meaning there are no additional costs associated with tuition. The
net increase in tuition is $115 per student.

In light of the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand family financials are of primary
importance. Please know that the collaborative Sustainability Committee — a branch of our Finance Committee
— has worked hard to evaluate all aspects of our budget to ensure that tuition increases remain as low as
possible. The increase only occurred following a rigorous analysis of our current allocation of resources, and
after a thorough review of the impact these increases will have on your daughter’s DSHA education.
We are grateful for the commitment you have made to a Catholic Salvatorian, college-prep, all-girls education
for your daughter/s. The goal of our entire faculty and staff is to provide the highest quality whole-person
education for your daughter/s while ensuring that we recruit, maintain, and offer competitive compensation to
the highest quality of faculty and staff so we can surround your daughter/s with the best teachers in the
Milwaukee area. The approved operating budget for the 2021-22 school year ensures that we will financially
sustain our mission as an institution while continuing to develop our students into confident and capable young
women of faith, heart, and intellect who will live out the Gospel call and make a difference in our world.
In line with our religious sponsor, the Sisters of the Divine Savior, we are committed and dedicated to increasing
our financial aid resources and allocating as much financial aid as possible to families who need it to meet the
tuition cost. Returning families of DSHA who are not currently receiving financial assistance — and wish to apply
— should do so immediately. You may obtain application information by contacting the Director of Admissions &
Financial Aid Ann Duffy at duffya@dsha.info.
To assist families with tuition payments, DSHA will once again offer a ten-month payment program through
Smart Tuition. Payment information is enclosed. Please contact the business office at 414-721-2916 with any
questions.
Your daughter’s enrollment at DSHA represents your commitment to our school community; we are grateful for

Other incremental fees assessed during the school year may include:
Course Fees
Fees are assessed each semester for classes with supplemental fees for materials and field trips as listed in the online
Curriculum Guide.
Athletic Fees
Team fees of $100 per sport are assessed seasonally following the finalization of each roster. No refunds are made after
two weeks from official season start. Additional fees may be assessed for team travel, gate fees (ski) or other supplemental
expenses.
Trip Fees
Fees associated with overnight student travel are assessed prior to the trip departure. Student accounts must be current to
be accepted into a DSHA overnight trip program and at the time of departure.
Ten-Payment Tuition Plan Processing Fee
A 3.5% non-refundable payment plan processing fee will be assessed on the 10-payment plan option amount.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
If applicable, the following scholarships or financial aid will be credited toward the total tuition and fees due:

Catholic School Personnel Grants
Applications for a CSPG grant must be submitted to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Limited funds are
available.
Payments Made in Advance
Payments for 2021-2022 tuition and fees received prior to the July billing – including registration fees, enrollment deposits, and

Tuition Agreements
Tuition Agreements are submitted online through parent ‘myDSHA’ accounts between May 1 and May 15. Enrollment is not
complete, and a student’s spot is not confirmed until the Tuition Agreement is submitted. Tuition Agreements are required
for every student including those in the Milwaukee Parental Choice program. An email with instructions will be sent when
Tuition Agreements are ready for review and submission.
Parents of freshmen may be required to pay a non-refundable enrollment deposit upon submission of the Tuition Agreement
which will be applied to tuition.
Billing and Payment Processing
Tuition billing and payments are processed through Smart Tuition. Smart accounts for the new school year will be activated
upon submission of the Tuition Agreement. During the Tuition Agreement submission process, current families will be asked
to input Smart account login information and new families will be prompted to set up a Smart account. Monthly invoices will
be sent via email unless the setting to receive paper invoices is manually selected on Smart Tuition accounts.
Tuition Payment Options
Two payment options are available:
1. One-Payment Tuition Plan (no processing fee)
Tuition is billed through Smart Tuition and due by July 15. Mid-year charges such as course fees and sports fees are
billed through Smart Tuition and due on the 15th of the month following the billing cycle. Payments can be made
on the Smart Tuition website or at the DSHA Business Office.
2. Ten-Payment Tuition Plan (3.5% nonrefundable processing fee)
Tuition is paid in ten monthly payments between July 15 and April 15. This option includes a nonrefundable
payment processing fee of 3.5% of the payment plan amount. Mid-year fees such as course fees and sports fees
are billed through Smart Tuition and due on the 15th of the month following the billing cycle. Down payments
received before July 15 will not be subject to the 3.5% processing fee. Payments can be made on the Smart Tuition
website or at the DSHA Business Office.
Payment Due Dates
Payments are due on the 15th of month following each billing cycle. Payments may be made directly on the Smart Tuition
website or by cash/check at the DSHA Business Office.

Overdue Accounts and Participation in Student Activities
Students may not begin the school year with an outstanding account balance. Class schedules will be held for students with
an outstanding balance, including the first monthly payment due July 15. Student accounts must be current to be accepted
into a DSHA overnight trip program and at the time of departure. Student accounts must be current to participate in
graduation and Baccalaureate activities.
Withdrawal
If a student withdraws during the year, tuition and fees are due for each semester the student attends at least one day. In
the event a freshman withdraws during the first 10 days of school, tuition, and fees for the first quarter only will be due. A

Contratos de matricula
