The Village of Lake Zurich will be visited by Santa’s
Elves to pick up your letters for Santa! Let Santa
know if you have been naughty or nice this year and
what you would like for Christmas. No postage is
necessary! Santa uses the United Elf Postal Service.
Sorry we are unable to return original letters. Parent

order for Santa to respond to your child. Mailbox

The fours program has been developed to meet the specific
skills needed in preparing a child for Kindergarten. Our
program is challenging and ever expanding. It includes
readiness in reading (we use the Jolly Phonics Program),
literature, writing, math, science, art, music, listening/

readiness. The fours also follow the “Handwriting Without
Tears” curriculum for writing, math, and literacy.

turns the switch, that moves the post, that activates the zip-

In this STEAM program, students will be building Rube
Goldberg “Mouse Trap” chain-reaction machines featuring
levers, pulleys, and other simple machines. Engineering
and physics concepts will be introduced and reinforced
through hands-on, innovative lessons and creative play
time. Problem solving skills and teamwork will be put
to the test as the complexity of the projects increases
from week to week. During the final class, there will be
a building competition - How many contraptions can you
connect in the chain reaction? No previous experience is
necessary- just a desire to learn and build. Each student
will receive an award on the last day of the session, and
have the opportunity to earn Energy Belts to demonstrate
their learned skills!
