Warrior Weekend Sponsorship Opportunities
We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the Warriors and Quiet Waters
Foundation, Southern Chapter and its purpose. The mission of Warriors and Quiet Waters,
Southern Chapter (WQWSC) is to provide severely injured U.S. servicemen and women from
the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with a quality experience for restoring the body and spirit;
utilizing the therapeutic benefits of fishing on the Gulf of Mexico, and adjacent inland waters.
WQWSC brings wounded soldiers to North Florida for a six day program of fishing and
recreation. Most warriors who come will still be in rehabilitation in the military hospital system.
Once here, they have the opportunity to relax and learn to fish the Gulf of Mexico and inland
waters in our quiet and beautiful surroundings.
Unfortunately there are over 50,000 of our fine warriors that have been injured in Iraq and
Afghanistan. WQWSC cannot help all of these warriors so our decision is to help the ones who
face the more serious challenges; the ones other organizations may not or cannot help such
as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and amputations. There are over
1,500 young people who have lost one or more limbs. Most of these warriors are recipients of
the Purple Heart. This program has shown immensely positive results for those very soldiers,
while they are learning to cope with their new challenges of life.
WQWSC sends each Warrior away with their fishing equipment to keep and use in the future.
The fishing tackle sitting in their hospital room can serve as a refreshing reminder to the
Warriors of their visit with us as well as giving them something to look forward to at the end of
their hospitalization. WQWSC bears the total cost of transportation, lodging, food, guide
service and equipment.
Our organization was formed because the soldiers that are facing long term rehab need to
know there is a life worth living, even with their injuries. We also want those soldiers to know
that their country appreciates their sacrifice. WQWSC wants the soldiers with disabilities to
know they can conquer the challenge of fishing as well as the many other challenges they will
face because of their injuries.
In the spring of 2015 Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation, Southern Chapter will hold their
3rd Annual Golf tournament and 3rd Annual Bass tournament as the primary fundraising
events. The Warrior Classic Weekend starts Friday, May 1st with a Golf tournament at
Southwood Golf Course followed by the Bass Classic tournament on Lake Talquin at Ingram’s
Marina on Saturday, May 2nd.

These events are held just prior to the spring 2015 Fishing Experience (FX). Spring 2015
WQWSC will also introduce the 1st Annual Warriors & Quiet Waters Salt Water Classic.
We are asking for your help in providing our servicemen and women a once in a lifetime
experience by becoming a sponsor. Please take a moment to look over the different levels of
sponsorship below:
Event Title Sponsor:
As the Event Sponsor of either the 2015 WQWSC Golf or Fishing events, your name will be
incorporated in the title of both events (i.e. Warriors and Quiet Waters ‘ABC Corporation’ Golf
Classic, Warriors and Quiet Waters ‘ABC Corporation’ Warrior Weekend Bass Fishing
Classic). Your name will be on all t-shirts, caps and other promotional material and will appear
in all advertising, both in print and electronic. This sponsorship level also includes:
Complimentary registration for two teams in the golf tournament (includes lunch and awards ceremony) or
Complimentary registration for one boat in the bass tournament or
Complimentary registration for one boat in the Warrior Salt Water Classic.
A table/booth at all events to display and promote your business
Four complimentary Classic Weekend t-shirts
A special invitation for two at the 2014-2015 Warrior FX banquets.
Your name will be associated with two Classic events and with helping these injured soldiers.
This level of sponsorship is available with a donation of $3000 and is promoted throughout the
year in addition to the Warrior Classic Weekend. We will be glad to meet with you to discuss
this opportunity.
Platinum Sponsors:
Platinum level sponsors will be listed beneath the event title sponsor on sponsor boards,
t-shirts and print media. This sponsorship level also includes:
Complimentary registration for one team in the golf tournament (includes lunch and awards ceremony) or
Complimentary registration for one boat in the bass tournament or
Complimentary registration for one boat in the Salt Water Classic
A table/booth at both events to display and promote your business
Two complimentary Classic Weekend t-shirts
A special invitation for two at the 2014-2015 Warrior FX banquets.

throughout the year in addition to the Warrior Classic Weekend.

Gold level sponsors will be listed beneath platinum level on the sponsor boards, t-shirts and
print media. This sponsorship level also includes:
A table/booth at all events to display and promote your business
Two complimentary Warrior Classic Weekend t-shirts
A special invitation for two at the 2014-2015 Warrior FX banquets.
The Gold sponsorship level is available for a donation of $1000 and is promoted throughout
the year in addition to the Warrior Classic Weekend.
Tournament Sponsors:
For the Golf Tournament there will be Hole Sponsors for $300 which includes the following:
Your business sign at your chosen hole
Your name on the 2014 Warrior Classic Weekend t-shirt
One free t-shirt
One free lunch ticket at the awards ceremony following the tournament
Your business website linked on our website and promoted via various media outlets
The opportunity to have your business sign at the fishing tournament the following day

Business Fundraisers:
Another way WQWSC is offering to promote your business and fund the needs of our Warriors
is by extending a dedicated day to financially support Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation.
‘Warrior Wednesday’ provides the Foundation with 15% of that day’s total food and beverage
intake while WQWSC will assist in advertising your business and recognizing your
contributions throughout the year. Please contact us for more details regarding this exciting
opportunity.
Warrior Sponsors:
In addition to the fundraising and event sponsorships, there is an option to directly cover the
costs for a Warrior to attend the Fishing Experience (FX). The anticipated cost is $4,000
per warrior.* Based on available funds, WQWSC strives to hold four FX’s throughout the year
with the intention of inviting a minimum of six soldiers each time.
*The average cost per Warrior is based on the following anticipated expenses:
Transportation to and from military base (flight and/or other means)
Lodging accommodations
All meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Purchase of all fishing apparel and equipment
Costs of fishing guides, fuel, bait and gear
Medical services not provided by volunteers
