Organising the Formalities
Once you have agreed a provisional date with us for your ceremony, you will need to
book the Registrar and then make your final confirmation with us. The local Retford
Superintendent Registrar can be contacted on 0300 500 8080 and you will be required
to pay their fees direct to them.
We are always happy to help if you need any further information or assistance.

From A1 South: Approx 3.5 miles after J34 Blyth, take small left exit signed Barnby Moor. Turn left at the
end of the road and the hotel is diagonally opposite at the T-junction.
From A1 North: Exit at A620 signed Ranby & Retford. Follow road for almost 2 miles and after Ranby
House School, take next left signed Barnby Moor. Follow Old London Road for approx 2.5 miles and the
hotel is diagonally opposite at the T-junction.
Wedding & Civil Partnership Terms & Conditions
The following will apply to weddings in addition to the hotel general terms & conditions available on request:
1. A room hire charge for the main reception suite will not be charged if the menu is taken from the Wedding
Package Menus and providing the day reception is for the minimum number of adults for the suite,
otherwise the following will apply :
Bradgate & Wiseton : Min No 80 or Room Hire £995
Nielsen : Min No 60 or Room Hire £795
Levack : Min No 30 or Room Hire £570
Restaurant 1650 : Min No 20 or Room Hire £570
Oak Pavilion : Min No 20 or Room Hire £995
1a Additional room hire is applicable for all Civil Ceremonies, rates as stated in our current brochure.
2. A minimum spend of £54 per guest applies to all wedding breakfasts.
3. Children under 12 years will be charged at the childrens menu price or 50% of the relevant main menu.
Children under 2 years eat free of charge, but all drinks will be charged as taken.
4. A reservation will be held on a provisional basis for a maximum of 14 days. Thereafter we request written
confirmation and a non-refundable deposit of £1,200 to secure the booking.
5. Deposits are deductible from the final account and in the event of cancellation are non-refundable.
6. A further advance payment of 50%, less deposit, of the estimated final costs is payable 6 months prior to
the wedding upon receipt of invoice.
7. Final numbers must be advised 14 days prior and this is the minimum number chargeable.
8. The final account, less deposit and advance payment, must be paid 14 days prior to the wedding and
any extras on the day must be settled prior to departure.
9. In the event of cancellation, charges based on a percentage of the final account will apply :-
Over 6 months : 25%
Between 4-6 months : 50%
Between 1-4 months : 75%
Under 1 month : 100%
10. All prices quoted include 20% VAT and are for events in 2020, but may be subject to change from 2021.
11. Additional outside suppliers are at the discretion of the management and subject to a surcharge.
12. Any damages which occur during your event, either by yourself or your guests, will incur charges directly
to the wedding account.
